reverse-engineer
From the author
Reverse-engineer the editing style of any reference video (YouTube / Reels / TikTok URL or a local file) and turn it into the first iteration of a new editing skill. Measures pacing (cuts, shot lengths), motion, faces/layout, colour, loudness and speech pace, builds shot-by-shot contact sheets for the agent to study, then scaffolds `.claude/skills/<style>-edit/` with the measured numbers, a style bible and a starter engine, and proves it with a demo render. Use when Kevin says "/reverse-engineer", "learn this editing style", "copy how this video is edited", "make a skill from this video", or hands over a reference edit to match.

- animation-reverse-engineeringsendaifun/skillsReverse-engineer any motion reference (a video from X/Twitter, Dribbble, a screen recording, a GIF) into production animation code through frame-level dissection. Use when the user shares a video/URL and says "implement this animation", "recreate this motion", "port this interaction", "how does this animate", "clone this effect", or wants to study how a reference moves before building it. Covers both timeline choreography (entrances, text sweeps, staggers) and interaction-driven motion (scrubbers, sliders, drag-driven scenes). Also fires when the user asks where to find good animation references or inspiration — it suggests curated sites and X accounts to hunt, then reverse-engineers whatever they bring back. Ports default to React/TypeScript with framer-motion; the analysis phases are framework-agnostic.Media★ 131
- reverse-any-videoheygen-com/hyperframesRebuild any video file as an editable HyperFrames project - motion graphics, talking heads, live action or AI-generated footage. Measure and watch it, rebuild every layer, then check the render against the original frame by frame. Use to reverse, recreate, replicate or copy a video.OfficialMedia★ 78.1K
- clone-websitevibeeval/vibecosystemReverse-engineer and clone a website in one shot — extracts assets, CSS, and content section-by-section and proactively dispatches parallel builder agents in worktrees as it goes. Use this whenever the user wants to clone, replicate, rebuild, reverse-engineer, or copy any website. Also triggers on phrases like "make a copy of this site", "rebuild this page", "pixel-perfect clone". Provide the target URL as an argument.Design★ 541
- viral-reverse-engineeringsocial-media-skills/skillsUse to reverse-engineer why a piece of content went viral (or overperformed) — yours or someone else's — and extract the repeatable mechanism to apply to your own content. Run when the user says "why did this go viral," "break down this viral post/video," "reverse engineer," "what made this work," or wants to learn from viral content. Sources the observable signal first (intake, transcript, screenshots, top comments, visible stats — an agent usually can't watch a video from a link) and never fabricates what it can't see. Reads brand-profile and audience first, deconstructs the piece layer by layer, isolates the real driver, runs a replicability check, extracts the transferable principle, and applies it to the user's niche via the content skills. Mechanism, never a copy; flags non-replicable virality; visible signals only (no WoopSocial analytics). Single-POST teardown only: for the account-level competitive landscape use competitor-analysis; for riding a live trend use trend-jacking.Data★ 240
- reverse-engineer-anything-self-learning-loopSpeedrunlab/reverse-engineer-anything-self-learning-loopReverse Engineer Anything with a Self-Learning Loop: examine software you are authorised to analyse, build your own working equivalent, then review it against the original with evidence, plan the gaps, improve, and repeat until a written definition of 100% is met, learning from every iteration so the next product starts further along. Use for: rebuilding a product whose source is lost, a compatible replacement for a tool you license, a port to a new platform, finishing a reconstruction that stalled at 80%. Static-first, evidence-led, authorisation-gated; it builds its own design and never copies protected expression.Design★ 133
- replica-reconJakeschincariol/replica-skillReverse-engineers any app into a recon map: screen inventory, user flows, component list, inferred data model and a feature matrix, from public pages, screenshots, app store listings, help docs and the user's own account. The first step of the Replica pack. Use when the user says "clone this app", "reverse engineer X", "how does X work", "map out X", "what screens does X have", "I want to build my own version of X", "copy this app", or pastes an app's URL or App Store link and wants to rebuild it.Other★ 7.3K
