From the author
Decision-grade entity research skill — produces a hypothesis-tested dossier on a specific company, person, nonprofit, or government org, not a generic profile. Forcing intake makes the user state their hypothesis upfront (what they already believe and want to verify or disprove) so the dossier tests it rather than confirms it. Output is an editable Word document (.docx) with verdict on the hypothesis, identity facts, 12-month activity timeline, network and reputation signals, red flags, conversation hooks tied to specific findings, and source-provenance audit log. Uses WebSearch + WebFetch + free APIs (SEC EDGAR, GitHub, ProPublica) as workhorses; optional BYOK MCPs enhance coverage. Use when the user asks for background research, diligence, or meeting prep on a specific entity (e.g., 'prep me for a meeting with [person/company]', 'due diligence on [company]'). Honors sensitivity exclusions for journalism + personal-vetting contexts.

- test-case-documentationArabelaTso/Skills-4-SEGenerate comprehensive test case documentation from test code, test framework output, existing test docs, and source code context. Use when documenting test suites, creating test specifications, generating test coverage reports, onboarding developers to testing practices, or preparing QA documentation. Analyzes test functions (pytest, unittest) to extract test names, docstrings, assertions, and organization, then produces structured markdown with both overview-level summaries and detailed test case specifications including purpose, preconditions, steps, expected results, and test data. Triggers when users ask to document tests, generate test specifications, create test reports, summarize test coverage, or explain what tests do.Testing★ 260
- microsoft-docsmicrosoft/skillsUnderstand Microsoft technologies by querying official documentation. Use whenever the user asks how something works, wants tutorials, needs configuration options, limits, quotas, or best practices for any Microsoft technology (Azure, .NET, M365, Windows, Power Platform, etc.)—even if they don't mention "docs." If the question is about understanding a concept rather than writing code, this is the right skill.OfficialDevOps★ 3.2K
- deep-researchcoreyhaines31/makerskillsWhen you want multi-source, multi-step research on a topic — competitor research before a sales call, market research for a new business idea, positioning angles, due diligence on a partnership or podcast guest, tech decision research (which DB, which auth), or any "I need to actually understand X." Combines web search, URL fetch, agent-browser, last30days (Reddit/X/YouTube/HN/web recency), memory, and Notion. Outputs a structured brief with citations, contradictions, gaps, and recommended next steps. Archives every research run to ~/.config/makerskills/deep-research/archive/ so past work is searchable. Triggers on "/deep-research," "research X," "investigate X," "do a deep dive on X," "look into X," "what's actually happening with X," "due diligence on X," "validate this market." Differs from a one-shot web search: this is multi-pass with verification. Not for standing monitoring (radar) or pulling one post or video (social-fetch, watch-video).Science★ 877
- entity-researchmoonlight-lupin/agent-skillsUse when the user says "research this company / person", "background check on X", "any negative press / adverse media on X", "who owns / who runs X", "is X sanctioned / sanctions check on X", "vet this vendor / counterparty / candidate / partner", or "entity search" — deep background research on an entity (a company OR a person) into a cited dossier: identity & background, ownership & key management, adverse / negative media, public sanctions-list name-match signals, PEP indications from public research, and litigation / regulatory history. It RESEARCHES and COMPILES with sources; it is NOT a compliance/AML/CDD determination and NOT a sanctions or PEP clearance — a sanctions-list or PEP signal is a SIGNAL to escalate to a human compliance function, never a "clear" or "block". Research a person only for a legitimate purpose and only from public information.Science★ 113
