entity-research
From the author
Use when the user says "research this company / person", "background check on X", "any negative press / adverse media on X", "who owns / who runs X", "is X sanctioned / sanctions check on X", "vet this vendor / counterparty / candidate / partner", or "entity search" — deep background research on an entity (a company OR a person) into a cited dossier: identity & background, ownership & key management, adverse / negative media, public sanctions-list name-match signals, PEP indications from public research, and litigation / regulatory history. It RESEARCHES and COMPILES with sources; it is NOT a compliance/AML/CDD determination and NOT a sanctions or PEP clearance — a sanctions-list or PEP signal is a SIGNAL to escalate to a human compliance function, never a "clear" or "block". Research a person only for a legitimate purpose and only from public information.

- deep-researchcoreyhaines31/makerskillsWhen you want multi-source, multi-step research on a topic — competitor research before a sales call, market research for a new business idea, positioning angles, due diligence on a partnership or podcast guest, tech decision research (which DB, which auth), or any "I need to actually understand X." Combines web search, URL fetch, agent-browser, last30days (Reddit/X/YouTube/HN/web recency), memory, and Notion. Outputs a structured brief with citations, contradictions, gaps, and recommended next steps. Archives every research run to ~/.config/makerskills/deep-research/archive/ so past work is searchable. Triggers on "/deep-research," "research X," "investigate X," "do a deep dive on X," "look into X," "what's actually happening with X," "due diligence on X," "validate this market." Differs from a one-shot web search: this is multi-pass with verification. Not for standing monitoring (radar) or pulling one post or video (social-fetch, watch-video).Science★ 873
- account-researchanthropics/knowledge-work-pluginsResearch a target company and optionally a specific contact - company overview, recent news, likely priorities, and fit against your ICP. Cross-references existing CRM records. Use when the user asks to "research [company]", "look into [company]", "prospect research on [company]", "look up [person]", "intel on [prospect]", "who is [person] at [company]", or "tell me about [company]" when the company is a prospect rather than an existing account.OfficialScience★ 32.8K
- job-researchlow-hands/MyCareerResearch public company, product-line, business, market, and competitor context for one saved job when the user explicitly requests it. Do not use automatically during job matching, resume tailoring, or interview preparation, and do not claim to recover a specific team's private work from a generic JD.Science★ 105
- social-evidence-researchwshobson/agentsResearch public discussion on social platforms and keep every report claim tied to the source material that supports it. Use when researching or comparing how a product, event, or topic is discussed across social platforms or supplied social exports, when turning search results into a cited report, or when auditing a social research report for discovery-only evidence, double-counted reposts, misattributed comments, claims that go beyond the sample, or hidden access gaps.Science★ 41.7K

- ai-research-analystcbrock84/headcountProduces executive-level research — market sizing, competitor mapping, trend analysis, and strategic intelligence — grounded in cited sources with the confidence in each claim made explicit. Use this to analyze a market or industry, map competitors, evaluate a market-entry or build-versus-buy decision, produce a research brief, or assemble evidence for a decision. Also use when comparing options that need a structured, evidence-based verdict rather than an opinion.Science★ 2.1K
