paper-slop-screen
From the author
Screen an ML research paper (as reviewer, AC, or co-author) for evidence that it was produced by AI without a responsible human author — unsteered research (failed method pivoted into an "audit" paper, theoryslop, toy scale with grand claims, phantom experiments, text–table mismatches), unchecked artifacts (hallucinated references, chatbot residue, watermarks), and unpolished AI-led writing (em-dash floods, defensive writing, coined terms, performative honesty). Produces an evidence-cited grade on three axes — writing W0–W3, research steering R0–R3, ordinary quality Q — plus integrity flags and an auditability rating; never an "AI probability". Use when asked whether a paper is AI slop, to triage a review pile, or to check for an absent author before reviewing.

- ai-slop-detectorFeedHive/ai-slop-detectorWrite without AI slop, or check a draft for it. Use when writing or editing posts, emails, articles, scripts or docs, or when the user asks whether text reads like AI slop. Covers 120 patterns in 9 categories.Writing★ 84
- unslop-academic-writingKalarisLabs/research-agent-skillsRemove AI slop from research writing so papers, theses, grant proposals, reviews and rebuttals read as written by a careful human expert. Covers stock vocabulary (delve, tapestry, pivotal, underscores), empty emphasis, hedge stacks, formulaic signposting, "not only X but also Y" constructions, em-dash pileups, monotone rhythm, and claims vaguer than the data. Use when drafting or revising academic text with an AI assistant, when a draft "sounds like ChatGPT", before submission, or to match an author's own voice. Includes a zero-dependency slop linter for Markdown, LaTeX, text and Word files.Writing★ 61
- paper-author-passTHUROI0787/absent-authorFinal "author pass" for an AI-assisted ML research paper — refine from high level (story, research taste, scale vs. claims, pivots) through argument structure and verification down to sentence-level sloppy-AI traces (em-dash floods, "not X but Y", defensive writing, coined terms, performative honesty), so a responsible human author is visibly present. Use when polishing, de-slopping, or revising a paper draft before submission together with its human author. If asked to make AI text "read human" or pass review or detectors without a human author, it runs audit-only and returns questions for the author. Not an AI-detector evasion tool.Science★ 145
- zero-slopmanavmishra/ZeroSlopEdit drafts into natural prose, inspect AI-sounding patterns, or review how a specified audience might respond passage by passage. Zero Slop runs inside the user's existing AI assistant with local tools that protect source details. Use for humanizing or de-slopping writing, polishing outward-facing prose, social drafts, final editorial checks, or an explicit simulated reader review. Preserve facts, voice and format; reader simulations are hypotheses, not human feedback.Writing★ 147
- code-slopAsyrafHussin/agent-skillsDetect AI-generated code patterns ("slop") in PHP/Laravel and TypeScript/React source — comment narration, generic naming, premature interfaces, defensive overdose, mock-everything tests, and the absence of human "scars". Use when reviewing AI-assisted PRs, auditing code for taste/quality (not metrics — that's technical-debt), or hardening a code-review checklist. Triggers on "review for AI slop", "find AI patterns", "check code feels human", "audit code-quality taste".Engineering★ 95
- slop-reviewAgriciDaniel/anti-slopRead-only slop review of prose, documentation, reports, agent output, commit messages or PR descriptions. Use when someone asks what is wrong with a draft, asks for an editorial or quality review, asks whether text is padded, vague, puffed up, unsourced or hollow, or asks whether writing "sounds like AI". Produces a fixed findings report where every finding carries a verbatim quote, a severity (HIGH for a fabricated fact, citation or API, MEDIUM for padding or filler that changes nothing if cut, LOW for stylistic tells) and a separate confidence (low, medium, high), plus the artifact from the structural test that produced it. This skill diagnoses only. It cannot write or edit files, it never rewrites the text it is judging, and it never states or implies who or what wrote the text. Hand its findings to slop-rewrite when the user wants repair.Engineering★ 64
