iterating-with-ai-and-mcp
From the author
Use this skill to drive Compose HotSwan from an AI agent (Claude Code, Cursor, any MCP client) so the agent can edit a Kotlin file, trigger a hot reload, capture a device screenshot, evaluate the result against a design intent, and iterate without a human in the loop. Covers the seven HotSwan MCP tools (hotswan_get_status, hotswan_reload, hotswan_take_screenshot, hotswan_start_snapshot, hotswan_stop_snapshot, hotswan_select_variant, hotswan_build_and_install), the canonical edit-reload-screenshot loop, snapshot-based rollback, and when to fall back to a full install for schema changes. Use when the developer says "get the AI to tune this screen until it matches a mock", asks "can the AI see what changed?" or "can the AI screenshot the device?", sets up a Claude Code or Cursor workflow that needs MCP tool access, or wants AI-driven UI iteration.

- claw-orchestratorskillmds/skillmdManage persistent coding sessions across Claude Code, Codex, Antigravity (agy), Cursor, and OpenCode engines. - skill-authoringthrixel/build-worldUse this skill when creating, editing, or reviewing an Unreal Engine Agent Skill, a named bundle of instructions registered with the unreal-mcp server (distinct from Claude Code's harness skills under `.claude/skills/`). Trigger when the user wants to add or change a skill that the in-editor agent will load. Concrete triggers: 'create a new Agent Skill', 'add a skill for X workflow', 'edit/update this skill', 'review my skill', 'make a Python skill class', 'create a skill UAsset', 'register a skill so Claude/an agent picks it up'; writing or editing a `SKILL.md` inside a UE plugin's `Skills/` or `Python/skills/` folder; defining a Python skill class registered with the skill registry; calling `CreateSkill`, `ListSkills`, or `GetSkills` MCP tools; designing a skill's name, description, or instruction body. SKIP for: authoring a toolset (use create-toolset), invoking an existing skill at runtime (use unreal-mcp), editing harness-level Claude Code skills under `.claude/skills/` or `~/.claude/skills/`, or genericWriting★ 104
- create-toolsetthrixel/build-worldUse this skill when authoring or extending an Unreal Engine toolset, a class of static, AI-callable functions registered with `ToolsetRegistry` and exposed through the unreal-mcp server. Trigger when the user wants to add, expose, or register a new tool method, create a new toolset, or extend an existing one such as `BlueprintTools`, `StaticMeshTools`, `ObjectTools`, `LevelTools`, or `MaterialTools`. Concrete triggers: 'add a tool to X', 'expose this via MCP', 'register a function so Claude/the agent can call it', 'wire this into the toolset registry', 'create a new toolset for Y', 'add a Python toolset', 'make this AI-callable'; adding a `static` method to a `*Tools.cpp/.h/.py` file; editing files under a `Toolsets/` folder; designing tool parameters, return types, or struct schemas for a toolset. SKIP for: invoking existing tools at runtime (use unreal-mcp instead), authoring an Agent Skill (use skill-authoring), generic refactors that happen to touch a toolset file but don't add or redesign a tool, or unreWriting★ 104
- assistant-mcpgrafana/skillsConnect AI coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, OpenAI Codex) to Grafana Cloud via the `mcp-grafana` Model Context Protocol server. Installs the server with `go install`, generates a Grafana service-account token, wires `~/.claude/settings.json` or `~/.cursor/mcp.json` with the `command` + `env` block, runs `--disable-write` for safer read-only sessions, switches to SSE transport for team-shared / VS Code setups, and verifies with `/mcp` + a `list_datasources` round-trip. Use when connecting Claude Code to Grafana, setting up MCP for Grafana, configuring the Grafana MCP server, using Grafana tools in Cursor/VS Code, querying Grafana from an AI agent, sharing the MCP server across a team — even when the user says "give my agent Grafana access", "let Claude see my metrics", or "Cursor + Grafana" without saying "MCP".OfficialWriting★ 290
- claude-apianthropics/skillsReference for the Claude API / Anthropic SDK — model ids, pricing, params, streaming, tool use, MCP, agents, caching, token counting, model migration. TRIGGER — read BEFORE opening the target file; don't skip because it "looks like a one-liner" — whenever: the prompt names Claude/Anthropic in any form (Claude, Anthropic, Fable, Opus, Sonnet, Haiku, `anthropic`, `@anthropic-ai`, `claude-*`, `us.anthropic.*`, `[1m]`); the user asks about an LLM (pricing/model choice/limits/caching) — never answer from memory; OR the task is LLM-shaped with provider unstated (agent/MCP/tool-definition/multi-agent/RAG/LLM-judge/computer-use; generate/summarize/extract/classify/rewrite/converse over NL; debugging refusals/cutoffs/streaming/tool-calls/tokens). SKIP only when another provider is being worked on (overrides all triggers): OpenAI/GPT/Gemini/Llama/Mistral/Cohere/Ollama named in the query; OR `grep -rE 'openai|langchain_openai|google.generativeai|genai|mistralai|cohere|ollama'` over the project hits (run this grep FIRST OfficialEngineering★ 183.6K
