crap-score
From the author
Calculates CRAP (Change Risk Anti-Patterns) for a named .NET method, class, or file. USE FOR: explicit CRAP calculation or coverage-and-complexity risk within that named target, including which tests to prioritize. DO NOT USE FOR: project-wide coverage/CRAP, plateaus, or project-wide blockers/priorities (coverage-analysis); behavioral/pseudo-mutation gaps (test-gap-analysis); writing tests; test runs without CRAP context.

- test-anti-patternsdotnet/skillsAudit a test file or suite; produce a severity-ranked diagnostic report. ALWAYS USE for tests that verify nothing, missing/tautological assertions, swallowed/broad exceptions, flaky/order-dependent tests, duplication, or magic values. Polyglot. DO NOT USE for direct edits: writing-mstest-tests owns supplied MSTest assertions/attributes/lifecycle; code-testing owns new tests. Exclude running tests, migration, assertion metrics (assertion-quality), raw .NET coverage collection (run-tests), non-.NET coverage collection/analysis (native tooling), project-wide .NET coverage/CRAP (coverage-analysis), named-target .NET CRAP (crap-score), behavioral/pseudo-mutation gaps (test-gap-analysis), test-mix/ happy-vs-error classification and trait distributions (test-tagging), or the testsmells.org catalog (test-smell-detection).Testing★ 5.7K
- test-gap-analysisdotnet/skillsFind caller-visible production changes existing tests would miss through pseudo-mutation analysis; verify candidates or close gaps only when requested. Includes read-only per-test composition for grading. Polyglot. USE FOR: would tests catch a bug, behavioral blind spots, surviving mutations. DO NOT USE FOR: concrete fix/feature revision proof (test-value-evidence); suite taxonomy (test-tagging); .NET coverage, Cobertura, plateaus or coverage-backed priorities (coverage-analysis); named CRAP (crap-score); new suites (code-testing); assertion/smell audits; mutation tools.Testing★ 5.7K
- test-taggingdotnet/skillsClassifies existing tests by standard traits and reports their distribution. USE FOR: tagging all tests with category attributes, categorizing/tagging/ labeling each test, compare happy vs error paths, audit the test mix, describe coverage shape by test type, or tag then verify the project builds. Read bodies when names mislead. Apply canonical attributes; otherwise report only. DO NOT USE FOR: requests owned by test-anti-patterns, coverage-analysis, crap-score, test-gap-analysis, code-testing, or migration skills.Testing★ 5.7K
- grade-testsdotnet/skillsGrade curated individual tests for readiness, A-F quality and improvements. ALWAYS USE FOR: grade tests, review only a named test, per-test readiness or quality bands for supplied methods, bodies, file spans or bounded PR diffs, including existing tests. Return Pass/Failed/Uncertain/Not applicable; unresolved/empty scopes omit grades. Compose read-only per-test evidence. Polyglot. DO NOT USE FOR: suite audits (test-engineer/test-anti-patterns), concrete fix/feature detection proof (test-value-evidence), writing/fixing tests, or coverage.Testing★ 5.7K
- csharp-refactoringdotnet/skillsSafely refactors C#/.NET code without changing behavior. USE FOR any request to refactor, rename, move, extract, inline, merge, consolidate, deduplicate, split, or modernize C# code, including partial/generated declarations, wrappers, public APIs, serialization/reflection/configuration names, friend assemblies, conditional compilation, and multi-targeted projects. Also use when a request calls a feature, bug fix, package/framework upgrade, or public nullability change a refactor and the behavior-changing part must be separated or declined. DO NOT USE FOR ordinary feature or bug fixes not presented as refactoring; standalone upgrades after reclassification (use dotnet-upgrade); adding tests; or formatting-only work.Engineering★ 5.7K
- test-gap-auditgithub/awesome-copilotRun a read-only audit for missing, weak, stale, or mis-scoped test coverage. If the user does not name a scope, audit the full repository and identify important code paths, routes, features, services, workflows, and contracts that lack proper tests. If the user names a feature, PR, branch, route, workflow, service, bug fix, API, security-sensitive path, or risky code change, focus only on that specific scope. Use when the user asks what tests are missing, whether coverage is enough, what regression tests to add, or how to prove a change is safe. This is not a general bug audit and not a security review; it evaluates whether behavior is covered by tests.Testing★ 40.3K
