csharp-refactoring
From the author
Safely refactors C#/.NET code without changing behavior. USE FOR any request to refactor, rename, move, extract, inline, merge, consolidate, deduplicate, split, or modernize C# code, including partial/generated declarations, wrappers, public APIs, serialization/reflection/configuration names, friend assemblies, conditional compilation, and multi-targeted projects. Also use when a request calls a feature, bug fix, package/framework upgrade, or public nullability change a refactor and the behavior-changing part must be separated or declined. DO NOT USE FOR ordinary feature or bug fixes not presented as refactoring; standalone upgrades after reclassification (use dotnet-upgrade); adding tests; or formatting-only work.

- csharp-scriptsdotnet/skillsRun file-based C# apps with the .NET CLI when the user explicitly wants C#/.NET code without creating a project. Use for C# language/API experiments, one-file C# apps, small multi-file C# apps composed with `#:include`/`#:exclude`, or C# file-based apps linked with `#:ref`. Do not use for language-agnostic throwaway scripts, generic computations, Python/PowerShell-style automation, full projects, or existing app integration.Engineering★ 5.7K
- refactorgithub/awesome-copilotSurgical code refactoring to improve maintainability without changing behavior. Covers extracting functions, renaming variables, breaking down god functions, improving type safety, eliminating code smells, and applying design patterns. Less drastic than repo-rebuilder; use for gradual improvements.Engineering★ 40.3K
- deep-module-refactorzebbern/claude-code-guideExplore a codebase to find opportunities for architectural improvement, focusing on making the codebase more testable by deepening shallow modules. Use when user wants to improve architecture, find refactoring opportunities, consolidate tightly-coupled modules, or make a codebase more AI-navigable.Engineering★ 4.7K
- code-simplificationaddyosmani/agent-skillsSimplifies code for clarity. Use when refactoring code for clarity without changing behavior. Use when code works but is harder to read, maintain, or extend than it should be. Use when reviewing code that has accumulated unnecessary complexity.Engineering★ 109.1K
- csharp-developerJeffallan/claude-skillsUse when building C# applications with .NET 8+, ASP.NET Core APIs, or Blazor web apps. Builds REST APIs using minimal or controller-based routing, configures database access with Entity Framework Core, implements async patterns and cancellation, structures applications with CQRS via MediatR, and scaffolds Blazor components with state management. Invoke for C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, Blazor, Entity Framework, EF Core, Minimal API, MAUI, SignalR.Data★ 12K
- csharp-expertdotnet/skillsRoute C# and .NET requests to the exact installed specialist or smallest dotnet/skills marketplace plugin. USE FOR: "which specialist should own this" or "how do I add the skill" requests involving ASP.NET Core endpoints, Blazor, MAUI binding, Windows Forms specialist selection or installation, EF Core queries, test or framework migration, runtime CPU/allocation evidence, file-based C#, editor/compiler defects, a surviving MSBuild `.binlog`, or a plugin missing from `/skills`; also use for C# semantics when no narrower specialist exists. DO NOT USE FOR: requests that already name the exact installed specialist to invoke, or work unrelated to C# or .NET.Testing★ 5.7K
