The U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) has formally terminated a patent infringement investigation involving Samsung Electronics and several major U.S. technology companies, following a settlement between U.S. chipmaker Netlist and South Korean chipmaker Samsung Electronics, according to a federal notice published Monday.
