NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang emphasizes that AI's next evolution involves deep integration with the physical world, specifically targeting Germany's robust automotive and industrial sectors. By leveraging existing manufacturing data and robotics expertise, this shift aims to modernize traditional business models without replacing core engineering skills. The focus remains on how AI transforms heavy industry through tangible applications in automation and process optimization.
Jensen Huang Urges German Manufacturers to Rapidly Adopt AI
NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang is urging German automotive and industrial machinery manufacturers to rapidly adopt artificial intelligence, leveraging their rich manufacturing data and expertise to 'reshape' Germany's current struggling business models. Huang pointed out that digital technology will never replace manufacturing or the deep expertise Germany possesses in automotive and robotics engineering. Or, as he put it: 'Electronics can never replace atoms.' However, he also stated that if the industry actively embraces new technologies, it will benefit from them. 'The next wave of AI will be tightly integrated with the physical world,' Huang said at an investment conference in Berlin on Monday while speaking with German chancellor candidate Friedrich Merz. 'AI will interact with the physical world, covering areas such as robotics, manufacturing, automotive, and heavy industry.' (Sina Finance)
