business-name-fit
From the author
Suggest, pick, or vet a business, startup, or product name that stays true to the founder's cultural origin while working professionally in the markets they want to sell into. Use when someone is naming a company, brand, or product and cares about how it lands across languages and regions — for example a name that sounds right at home but might read oddly to English speakers, or an authentic name they want to check before committing. Trigger this for any request about choosing a business name, checking if a name "works" abroad, spotting bad meanings in other languages, or making a name sound trustworthy in a specific market — even if the person doesn't say the word "skill".

- name-your-businesstamdogood/builder-essential-skillsGenerate, refine, compare, and when needed validate distinctive names for startups, AI products, developer tools, protocols, open-source projects, apps, product families, local businesses, services, companies, nonprofits, and other organizations. Use when asked to name or rename a business, brand, product, venture, shop, studio, or organization; derive a name from an existing project or concept; create a company and product naming system; compare candidates; or check company, domain, package, repository, marketplace, or trademark conflicts. Default to a fast no-browse creative pass; use current validation when the user requests availability or research, or is choosing a final name. Do not claim legal clearance, purchase domains, or present stale or unverified availability as fact.Science★ 225
- founder-brandJakeschincariol/founder-skillYour brand designer. Names the business (with the trademark, domain and handle checks to run before falling in love with a name), writes the voice, a one-line promise and a tagline, and briefs the look: colours, type, logo and the first things a customer sees, so they match the positioning the marketing director chose. Use when the user says "name my business", "brand this", "logo", "brand identity", "what should it look like", "tagline", or "brand voice".Marketing★ 1.7K
- startup-designferdinandobons/startup-skillDesign, validate, and plan a startup from scratch. Covers market research, competitive analysis, business model, brand identity, product definition, financial projections, and validation experiments. Trigger when the user has a startup idea to explore, wants to validate a business concept, needs a business plan or lean canvas, asks for market sizing or competitive landscape, wants brand positioning or go-to-market strategy, or says anything like "I have an idea for..." or "is this idea worth pursuing". Also handles resuming from a previous checkpoint.Design★ 1.2K
- business-brainstormcoreyhaines31/makerskillsWhen you want to pressure-test a potential new business, product, or side project against the serial-founder filter. Not "marketing ideas for a product" (that's marketing-skills:marketing-ideas) — this is "should this business exist + can you win it." Runs the idea through a structured framework (problem, audience, wedge, monetization, moat, portfolio fit, distribution, energy fit, opportunity cost), checks domain availability via /domain, optionally triggers /deep-research for market validation, and outputs a viability brief: build / sleep on it / pass. Archives every idea to ~/.config/makerskills/business-brainstorm/archive/ so past work is searchable. Triggers on "/business-brainstorm," "/brainstorm," "new business idea," "should I build X," "pressure test this idea," "validate this idea," "is X a good business," "what about a [type] for [audience]."Planning★ 873
- app-namerrshankras/claude-code-apple-skillsTurn an app idea into validated, App-Store-ready name candidates. Use when the user says "name my app", "what should I call it", "app name ideas", "help me name this app", "is this name available", or needs to pick a brandable, ownable name before reserving it in App Store Connect.Other★ 829
- job-scoutKerberosClaw/kc_ai_skillsUse when the user is considering applying to, interviewing with, or accepting an offer from a company and wants due diligence on the company and optionally a specific role. Requires a company name, optionally a job title, then researches current public data, employee reviews, salary signals, product/tech quality, and red flags before giving a grounded recommendation. NOT for generic career coaching or resume editing.Writing★ 79
