upstream-first
From the author
Load this skill before implementing a fix for a barrier that may originate in a shared component, design system, renderer, or external dependency rather than this project's own code. Decide whether the responsible fix is local, an existing installed capability, or an upstream contribution before writing a workaround. Absolutely always record any temporary local divergence with an owner and removal condition. Under no circumstances open, comment on, or submit anything in an external project without explicit human approval.

- design-firstrohitg00/skillkitGuides the creation of technical design documents before writing code, producing architecture diagrams, data models, API interface definitions, implementation plans, and multi-option trade-off analyses. Use when the user asks to plan a feature, architect a system, design an API, explore implementation approaches, or requests a technical design or spec before coding — especially for complex features involving multiple components, ambiguous requirements, or significant architectural changes.Design★ 1.6K

- reuse-before-buildAi-Eastern/reuse-before-buildReuse-first decision gate for coding work. Before building, check whether the project, its platform, its installed dependencies, or a well-evidenced open-source project already provides what is needed, then decide Take, Borrow, or Build from evidence actually read. Use it whenever a task involves choosing an architecture, library, framework, or component; implementing a non-trivial feature, helper, or integration that may already exist; adding, extending, or checking tests; or resuming engineering work from a handoff, checkpoint, or compacted context, even if the user never mentions reuse. Skip it for typos, renames, and other small local edits.Testing★ 99

- progressive-enhancementmgifford/accessibility-skillsLoad this skill when building any web feature, reviewing architecture decisions, or evaluating JavaScript dependencies. Under no circumstances build features that break completely when JavaScript is unavailable or fails. Absolutely always start with semantic HTML, layer CSS enhancements, and add JavaScript as the final, optional layer. Prioritize resilience and universal access over cutting-edge features.Design★ 57
- frontend-designnahid-sparktales/agent-dispatcherEstablish a visual direction for new or reshaped UI so it reads as designed for this product rather than assembled from defaults — hierarchy, typography, colour, spacing, density. Use when building a new surface, when something looks templated and needs a direction rather than a tweak, or when asked to make an interface feel considered. Prefer the official Anthropic frontend-design skill when it is installed; this is the local counterpart for when it is not. Not for critiquing an existing interface, and not for work inside a design system that already decides these things.Design★ 59
