From the author
Saves a finding that took real time to reach — a non-obvious behaviour, an integration trap, a workaround and the reason it is needed — as committed markdown, stamped with the commit and the file patterns it describes so that it can be detected as stale later. Searches those notes too. Trigger for "save this", "note that", "remember this", "we worked this out the hard way", "do we have notes on", "what did we find about". Not for project decisions — use /ai-brainstorm, which is where a decision has its context. Not for documentation somebody reads to learn the system — use /ai-write, which is where a document gets written against the tree.

- note-improvementtobihagemann/turboCapture an out-of-scope improvement opportunity so it doesn't get lost. Use when the user asks to "note improvement", "save improvement", "track this for later", "remember this improvement", "note this idea", "log improvement", "backlog this", or "park this idea". Also invoke proactively when noticing something improvable during work that falls outside the current task's scope, or after deliberately shipping a simpler approach that accepts a known ceiling — briefly mention it to the user and offer to note it.Productivity★ 416
- history-notesOutlineDriven/outline-driven-developmentUse when the user says remember this or settles one durable fact. Not for remote, credential, publish, deploy, or irreversible changes.Productivity★ 54
- hive.note-takingaden-hive/hiveMaintain a free-form scratchpad of decisions, extracted values, and open questions so context pruning doesn't lose anything you still need.Productivity★ 11.1K
- noteescoffier-labs/brigadeCreate an Obsidian-formatted markdown note documenting the current session topic. Use when the user says /note, 'save this to Obsidian', 'write a note about X', or asks to document a troubleshooting session, system concept, coding pattern, or workflow. Writes to ~/notes/<slug>.md and syncs to the configured Obsidian inbox. If an argument is provided after /note, use it as the topic; otherwise review the conversation.Productivity★ 81
- session-memoryoaustegard/claude-skillsMaintains a structured running-notes document during long work sessions. Use when the user says "session notes", "update notes", "start session notes", "show session notes", or when you recognize the current session has accumulated enough state (decisions, corrections, files touched, errors) that it risks being lost under context pressure. Stores notes as a procedure memory tagged [session-memory, active] so they survive container death within the same session thread.Productivity★ 154
- meeting-notesericrisco/rsc-harnessUse when a meeting just ended and a transcript or rough notes must become a record the absent can act on — decisions with their why, actions with an owner and a real date, open questions, a recap inside 24–48h — or to clean an AI-notetaker draft that invented tasks or swapped speakers. NOT the durable ADR with alternatives weighed (that is decision-records).Productivity★ 272
