incremental-java-programmer
From the author
Incrementally implement new features in Java repositories from natural language descriptions. Use when adding functionality to existing Java codebases (Maven or Gradle projects). Takes a feature description as input and outputs modified repository with implementation code, corresponding JUnit tests, and verification that all tests pass. Supports method additions, new class creation, and method modifications with proper Java conventions.

- 170-java-documentationjabrena/plinthUse when you need to generate or improve Java project documentation — including README.md files, package-info.java files, and Javadoc enhancements — through a modular, step-based interactive process that adapts to your specific documentation needs. This should trigger for requests such as Improve the code with documentation; Apply documentation; Refactor the code with documentation; Generate README or developer documentation for a Java project; Document Java APIs architecture or project workflows. - java-regression-test-generatorArabelaTso/Skills-4-SEAutomatically generate regression tests for Java codebases by analyzing changes between old and new code versions. Use when users need to: (1) Generate tests after refactoring or code changes, (2) Ensure previously tested behavior still works in new versions, (3) Cover modified or newly added code paths, (4) Migrate existing tests to work with updated APIs or signatures, (5) Maintain test coverage during code evolution. Supports JUnit and TestNG frameworks with unit tests, parameterized tests, and exception testing patterns.Testing★ 258
- incremental-implementationaddyosmani/agent-skillsDelivers changes incrementally in thin, verifiable slices. Use when implementing any feature or change that touches more than one file, or when picking up the next task from a plan. Use when rolling a change out behind a feature flag, when you're about to write a large amount of code at once, or when a task feels too big to land in one step.Writing★ 110.1K
- java-test-updaterArabelaTso/Skills-4-SEUpdate Java test classes and methods to work with new code versions after refactoring or modifications. Use when code changes break existing tests due to signature changes, refactoring, or behavior modifications. Takes old and new code versions plus old tests as input, and outputs updated tests that compile and pass against the new code. Handles method signature changes, class refactoring, assertion updates, and mock modifications.Testing★ 258
- 142-java-functional-programmingjabrena/plinthUse when you need to apply functional programming principles in Java — including writing immutable objects and Records, pure functions, functional interfaces, lambda expressions, Stream API pipelines, Optional for null safety, function composition, higher-order functions, pattern matching for instanceof and switch, sealed classes/interfaces for controlled hierarchies, Stream Gatherers for custom operations, currying/partial application, effect boundary separation, and concurrent-safe functional patterns. This should trigger for requests such as Improve the code with Functional Programming; Apply Functional Programming; Refactor the code with Functional Programming; Refactor Java code to use streams or Optionals safely; Improve immutability and pure functions in Java. - java-upgradegithub/awesome-copilotUpgrade a Java project to a newer JDK (11 to 17, 17 to 21, 21 to 25) and adopt the new language and library features. Detects the current Java version from the build files, then loads only the matching per-version guide. Use when the user asks to upgrade Java, modernize Java code, or adopt records, sealed classes, pattern matching, virtual threads or other new Java features. For automated end-to-end upgrades see the modernize-java plugin.Engineering★ 40.4K
