advise-project-approach
From the author
Research and advise on the best way to approach a software project, including architecture, tech stack, implementation strategy, pricing/operating-cost tradeoffs, benchmark research, and comparisons with similar real-world projects. Use before building, mid-build, or after completion when the user asks for project strategy, optimal approach, research comparables, similar projects, stack selection, vendor/service choice, repo analysis, architecture critique, implementation feedback, or a prioritized improvement plan. Avoid for narrow single-bug debugging or isolated file edits unless the user asks for broader project direction.

- architecture-researchmajiayu000/spellbookEvidence-driven architecture research for understanding real systems and making technical decisions. Use when doing architecture landscape studies, source-backed system archaeology, build-vs-buy or adopt/adapt/build decisions, open-source and commercial comparisons, revisiting an earlier architecture choice, or handling requests such as 架构调研, 架构选型, 竞品架构, 技术尽调, 同类方案, 开源替代, how is X built, and what should we learn from X. Do not use for small mechanical changes, market-only discovery, or detailed design after the technology direction is already fixed.Science★ 288

- improvegadicc/yahoo-finance2Survey any codebase as a senior advisor and produce prioritized, self-contained implementation plans for OTHER models/agents to execute. Strictly read-only on source code — never implements, fixes, or refactors anything itself. Use when asked to audit a codebase, find improvement opportunities (bugs, security, performance, test coverage, tech debt, migrations, DX), suggest features or where to take the project next (roadmap, product direction), or generate handoff plans for another agent to implement.Security★ 808
- researchtestdouble/hanResearches an open-ended question — options, possible solutions, prior art, trade-offs, or how something works — and produces a durable, evidence-backed, adversarially-validated report that recommends an option without committing the team to any artifact. Use when you want to research approaches, weigh options, survey prior art or the state of the art, or understand how something works before committing to a direction. Does not diagnose a bug, failure, or root cause — use investigate. Does not specify a feature — use plan-a-feature. Does not create or update a coding standard — use coding-standard. Does not compare two concrete artifacts for gaps — use gap-analysis. Does not assess an existing module's architecture — use architectural-analysis. Does not capture feedback on Han's own skills — use han-feedback.Science★ 320
