git-safety
From the author
Stops an agent from destroying uncommitted work with git. Requires git status and git diff before any command that discards changes, treats "revert" and "undo" as manual edits, and never runs reset, checkout, clean, stash drop, or force push without explicit approval. Use when a task involves reverting, undoing, resetting, cleaning, rebasing, or force pushing, or before any git command in a repo with uncommitted changes.

- keeping-git-repos-cleankajisho5/ffmpeg-skillPrevents, detects, and remediates files that should never be committed — secrets (.env, API tokens, hardcoded credentials) and dev artifacts (build output, scratch databases, editor/OS files). Covers .gitignore (and why it does not untrack), git rm --cached, auditing tracked files, history scrubbing, and credential rotation. Use when a repo has committed secrets or junk, when setting up a new repo's ignore rules, or when reviewing what a repo actually tracks.Engineering★ 4.1K

Reviews ownership, current content, and Git recoverability; preserves ambiguous user content and backs up selected changes when needed. Requires a concrete deletion selection. - git-commitgithub/awesome-copilotUse this skill when the user wants to make a Git commit or split changes into more than one commit. Also use it when the user types "/commit" or asks for a conventional commit. The skill examines the diff, stages the related files, writes a Conventional Commits message, and runs git commit. Do not use it when the user wants only a commit message and no commit. Do not use it to push, open a pull request, rebase, or change the commit history.Engineering★ 40.6K
