trader-analyst
From the author
The Earnings Analyst. Reads a company's reported numbers straight from SEC EDGAR (XBRL company facts from its 10-Qs and 10-Ks, plus the latest earnings 8-K and its press release) and sums up what changed: revenue, gross, operating and net margins, net income and diluted EPS, quarter by quarter, each against the same quarter a year earlier, with the trailing twelve months. Reads an earnings call transcript when you paste one. Use when the user says "how did Tesla's earnings look", "analyze the earnings", "what changed this quarter", "is revenue growing", "check the 10-Q", "compare margins", "sum up the call", "does it report this week", or before trading a stock around its earnings.

- earnings-recaphimself65/finance-skillsAnalyze a company's most recent (or a specified past) earnings report from Yahoo Finance data (yfinance): actual vs estimated EPS, surprise size, revenue and margin trends, and the stock's price reaction. Use this skill whenever the user asks how earnings went — beat or miss, earnings surprise, quarterly results, the post-earnings move, or an earnings call recap — including casual references to a past report such as "AMZN reported last night" or "how did they do". For an upcoming report, use earnings-preview.Finance★ 3.4K
- earnings-analysisanthropics/financial-servicesCreate professional equity research earnings update reports (8-12 pages, 3,000-5,000 words) analyzing quarterly results for companies already under coverage. - trader-screenerJakeschincariol/trader-skillThe Stock Screener. Checks a list of companies against the user's own rules (revenue growth, margins, EPS, P/E, earnings yield, sector, anything in the metrics file), says exactly which rule each company passes or fails and by how much, and ranks the ones that pass into a shortlist. Reads the metrics /trader-analyst writes from SEC filings, or any CSV. Use when the user says "screen for stocks", "find me companies that", "filter my watchlist", "which of these pass my rules", "shortlist candidates", "rank these stocks", or "growing companies under 30 times earnings".Data★ 426
- trader-newsJakeschincariol/day-trader-skillNews Monitor. Tracks breaking news on every stock you watch and flags what moves it: Yahoo Finance headlines per ticker, each company's 8-K filings on SEC EDGAR (earnings, CEO changes, deals, restatements, bankruptcy) and how far each stock is from yesterday's close. Shows only what is new since the last check, newest first, in New York time, tags each item (earnings, analyst, deal, halt, regulatory, macro...) and never repeats one. Use when the user says "any news on TSLA", "why is this moving", "what's the news on my watchlist", "morning briefing", "pre-market news", "monitor the news", "did anything break", "check the 8-Ks", or after /trader-scanner finds setups.Finance★ 708
- estimate-analysishimself65/finance-skillsAnalyze sell-side analyst estimates and how they are changing, using Yahoo Finance data (yfinance): EPS and revenue consensus by period, estimate ranges and dispersion, revision trends over 7/30/60/90 days and up/down revision breadth, growth estimates vs industry, sector, and the S&P 500, and historical estimate accuracy. Use this skill when the user wants more than a single estimate lookup: estimate revisions or momentum, EPS trend, consensus changes, forward or next-quarter and annual estimates, the bull vs bear estimate spread, or growth projections across periods.Finance★ 3.4K
- earnings-previewanthropics/financial-servicesBuild pre-earnings analysis with estimate models, scenario frameworks, and key metrics to watch.
