scenario-blender-previs-storyboard
From the author
Use when turning a script or story into previs, layout, storyboards or an animatic in Blender: beats to shot list, camera and lens per shot, staging, camera height, 180-degree rule, screen direction, shot sizes, when to cut, camera moves, timing stills in the Video Sequencer, markers bound to cameras, Story Tools, Grease Pencil or 2D/3D hybrid boards. Also when an animatic shows the wrong frame, blocking keys are not stepped, Rigify operators are missing, or viewport render fails headless.

- scenario-storyboardsscenario-labs/skillsUse when a story must unfold across a sequence of Scenario images: a comic page or strip, manga or webtoon panels, a children's storybook, a film, game, or ad storyboard, animatic pre-viz frames, or any shot list where the same characters and world must persist from panel to panel and dialogue must stay legible. Keywords: storyboard, comic, panel, sequential art, storybook, shot list, pre-viz, animatic, scene to scene, character consistency.Marketing★ 1.1K
- scenario-blender-animationscenario-labs/skillsUse when animating characters or objects in Blender through Python, a bouncing ball, walk or run cycle, jump, acting shot, lip sync, eye darts or facial animation, blocking in stepped keys, splining, polish, timing and spacing, arcs, overlap, squash and stretch, graph editor handles, slotted actions or NLA layers, staging a playblast, or when animation looks floaty, stiff, slides, pops, chatters, the subject is too small in frame, or a knee pops and needs an expert review.Media★ 1.1K
- scenario-blender-2d-animationscenario-labs/skillsUse when a 2D side-scroller shot, platformer cutscene, game trailer or parallax animation has to be built in Blender from Scenario-generated pictures (flat image cards, an orthographic camera, keyed jumps, rigid-body props), or when a finished shot needs a new theme or look without re-animating. Also use when image planes in Blender float above the ground, a tiled parallax layer shows a seam, or physics props leave the picture plane.Media★ 1.1K
- scenario-blender-blockoutscenario-labs/skillsUse when a text brief or a reference image must become a Blender blockout whose playblast guides a render-to-real video pass (a video model that takes a reference clip, such as Seedance, or the Render Video lane of the Scenario Blender Plugin): graybox or previs built for a video model, color-coded proxies at metric scale from rough to detailed, density levels from a simple shot to an expert scene with crowds, traffic and many cuts, character stand-ins chosen per video model (colored capsules, capsules with signature features, rigged gray mannequins), a camera locked to the timeline, rail or tracking camera rigs, lens per shot, framing and occlusion checks, a playblast, a hand-off sheet for the video prompt. Also when a render-to-real pass renders the proxies as boxes, reads one figure as two people, gives runners a stiff, lockstep or sliding gait, swaps a car's front and rear, drifts at the end, or the guide camera pops on a cut.Media★ 1.1K
- scenario-blender-grease-pencilscenario-labs/skillsUse when drawing or animating with Grease Pencil in Blender 5.x from Python: 2D or 2.5D illustration, frame-by-frame animation, a cutout or part-based 2D character, strokes with pressure, filled shapes with holes, in-betweens and interpolation, onion skin, Line Art outlines, strokes on 3D meshes, NPR or hybrid motion graphics. Also when GP code fails (GPENCIL, frame.strokes, grease_pencil_modifiers), fills do not show, colors render dark, or draw brushes will not run from a script.Media★ 1.1K
- scenario-seedance-storyboardscenario-labs/skillsUse when a Seedance video must hold continuous movement across shots: dance choreography, fights, sports, or any performance where limbs teleport, feet slide, or motion resets at every cut, or when turning a storyboard and character sheet into a multi-shot sequence that plays as one take. Keywords: storyboard to video, choreography, movement control, pose chain, timecoded shot script, first and last frame chaining, character sheet, multi-shot continuity, Seedance 2.5 and 2.0.Documents★ 1.1K
