agent-platform-troubleshooting
From the author
Troubleshoots Google Cloud Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform issues (Agent Gateway, Registry, Identity, Policies, Model Armor, Identity-Aware Proxy (IAP)). Use when agent requests fail with 403 (especially unauthorized egress), Agent Runtime queries return 500, or gateway/IAP logs show permission errors. Don't use for general Google Cloud Identity and Access Management (IAM) debugging or networking issues unrelated to the Agent Platform stack.

Use when the user needs to configure multi-agent security, ingress (CLIENT_TO_AGENT), or egress (AGENT_TO_ANYWHERE) patterns involving Model Armor, IAP, and Agent Registry. Don't use for general Cloud Load Balancing or basic VPC setup not related to Agent Gateways.OfficialSecurity★ 21.5K

Guides the usage of the Gemini API on Agent Platform with the Google Gen AI SDK. - agent-platform-inferencegoogle/skillsConnects to and performs inference with Google Cloud Agent Platform GenAI models, including First-Party Gemini models and Third-Party OpenMaaS models (Llama, DeepSeek, Qwen, etc.). Use when asked to perform inference, ask a model a question, run a test prompt, execute chat completions, or generate code for calling Gemini or OpenMaaS models, authenticate with GenAI SDK, OpenAI SDK, or legacy Agent Platform SDK, configure base URLs and global/regional endpoints, or troubleshoot 429 Resource Exhausted (DSQ), 400 User Validation, or 404 Not Found errors. Don't use for deploying models to endpoints or for running model evaluations.OfficialTesting★ 21.5K
- apigee-agent-gateway-governancegoogle/skillsStands up an Apigee API proxy that a Google Cloud Agent Gateway calls as an ext-proc (Service Extension) callout on an agent's LLM traffic, to meter token usage per model, extract caller identity, and apply Model Armor prompt screening or a semantic cache. Use when wiring Apigee in as an AI gateway behind an Agent Gateway, when an agent's model egress needs governing, or when a callout proxy returns no verdict and you need to find out why. The distinguishing question is whether Apigee forwards the traffic or only inspects it: this skill is inspect-only, and builds the proxy itself. Don't use it when Apigee is meant to receive a request and route it onward to a backend — including hosting an MCP server behind Apigee — which needs a proxy with a target instead. Don't use for governing the agent's calls to tools or MCP servers. Don't use for choosing or switching which model a request goes to. Don't use for creating the Agent Gateway itself, nor for Apigee hybrid.OfficialEngineering★ 21.5K

Supports two distinct operational modes: (1) Requester Flow for developers encountering access denials (capturing error context, self-service PAM JIT activations, elevated developer self-remediation, or logging structured tickets), and (2) Resolver Flow for privileged administrators (authoritative Policy Troubleshooter analysis, deny policy exemptions, least-privilege role discovery, and PAM/IAM provisioning).OfficialProductivity★ 21.5K
