visualize-in-3d
From the author
Turn anything hard to picture into a 3D world people can watch or play with - an operation or system (airport, data center, port, factory, hospital), an event spreading over real land (wildfire, flood), a story in time (a historical event, a case), characters or machines in action (a fight, a chase, a launch), or how a thing works. Builds a live three.js app with a dashboard and a 30 s film, a lesson app, a quick no-Blender prototype, a live embed that runs on real data inside an existing dashboard, a documentary film, an action short, an interactive cutaway plate or book, or a playable web game. Looks include clean ops world, toy and lived-in isometric, point cloud, photoreal terrain, dark and white model documentary, pixel diorama, cutaway plate, ASCII showcase and layer build film. Models come from ready sources or Blender builds made from real references, and the skill checks its own frames before showing anyone. Use for "visualize how X works", "show this event on a 3D map", "a live 3D dashboard of X", "

- exploded-viewMoh4696/open-3d-skillsBuilds interactive 3D explainers of how a machine or product works, in three.js, with a staged exploded view driven by a slider or scroll, x-ray shells, a section cut through the casing, labels pinned to parts with leader lines that never cover the model, and hover or click to pick parts. Works on code-built models and loaded GLB files. Use for "show how it works", teardown or cutaway pages, product anatomy, engine, motor, gearbox, camera, phone or vehicle internals, technical education pages, or turning a 2D cutaway drawing into an interactive 3D one.Engineering★ 206
- machineAirsupHQ/machine-skillTurn one line ("a turbofan jet engine", "a mechanical watch", "an LVAD heart pump") into a photoreal, physics based, interactive 3D simulation of that machine in a single HTML file, plus a 20 to 30 second film to post it. Real proportions in metres, real materials (PBR metals, paints, polymers, glass), studio lighting with soft shadows, moving parts driven by a small solver that computes real numbers (thrust, torque, rpm, flow, pressure, efficiency), and modes to explode it, cut it open with clean section caps, x-ray it, slow it down, label it and break it. Use this whenever someone asks to build, simulate, visualise, explain or "show how X works" for any machine, engine, mechanism, device, instrument or piece of hardware, wants an interactive 3D model or a cutaway, or wants a video of a machine for a post, even if they never say "simulation" or "three.js".Media★ 534
- d3-vizaiskillstore/marketplaceCreating interactive data visualisations using d3.js. This skill should be used when creating custom charts, graphs, network diagrams, geographic visualisations, or any complex SVG-based data visualisation that requires fine-grained control over visual elements, transitions, or interactions. Use this for bespoke visualisations beyond standard charting libraries, whether in React, Vue, Svelte, vanilla JavaScript, or any other environment.Engineering★ 452
- visualEricTechPro/super-boardTurn the current work into one polished, self-contained HTML visual page — a recap of a branch's changes, a plan, a map of a folder, endpoint set, or architecture, or an interactive drill-down map of a skill pack or system (zoom, pan, click a node for details, double-click to open its inner view). Use when the user runs /visual or asks to visualise, picture, or visually recap a branch, PR, diff, plan, or part of a codebase, or to map a skill pack, its lanes, scripts, and hooks.Planning★ 593
- threejs-sceneMoh4696/open-3d-skillsBuilds real-time 3D websites in three.js from code alone, with no model files. Covers buildings and landmarks, vehicles, machines, landscapes and product studies made of procedural geometry (profile sweeps, lathes, instancing), canvas textures, shader patches, a physically based sky and sun, soft shadows, ambient occlusion and bloom, light presets, camera vantages and flights, quality tiers, and a starter that runs at 60 fps. Use when someone asks for a 3D website, a three.js scene, a WebGL hero, an interactive 3D model of a real place or object, a "3D version" of something, or when an existing three.js page looks flat, plasticky, aliased, washed out or slow.Engineering★ 206
