add-captions
From the author
Add TikTok-style, karaoke, YouTube or minimal captions to your Remotion video. Gets word-level captions through the official remotion-captions flow (whisper-webgpu, or ElevenLabs Scribe via @remotion/elevenlabs when there's no GPU), or imports the user's SRT with parseSrt, places one official caption element per clip, and applies a style preset with platform-safe placement.

- video-repurposingnaveedharri/benai-skillsTurn long-form video into platform-ready clips - LinkedIn posts, TikTok/Reels, teasers, highlight reels - with word-level captions, using FFmpeg and Remotion. USE THIS SKILL WHEN the user wants to repurpose a YouTube video or any long video into social clips, mentions video, clip, footage, mp4, mov, or any video format, wants to cut, stitch, combine, or edit video files, needs captions, subtitles, or TikTok-style word highlighting, wants a teaser, trailer, or highlight reel, asks about video transcription or whisper, mentions FFmpeg, ffprobe, or Remotion errors, or has .mp4/.captions.json files or video folders. Runs a mandatory intake, proposes an edit plan with exact timestamps, previews in Remotion Studio, and renders only on approval.Media★ 76
- embedded-captionscoco-research/cocoAdd captions or subtitles to an existing single-subject talking-head video without editing the footage. Use for plain verbatim captions, cinematic captions embedded behind the subject, VFX captions, “炸/特效/酷炫字幕,” or a named identity from the 35-style catalog. Route by visual identity, not by backend engine. The quiet `anchor` rail is the default; embed every word only when the user explicitly wants a fully cinematic treatment. The workflow runs locally end to end, including transcription and subject matting; split multi-shot footage before applying it.Media★ 794
- scenario-caption-studioscenario-labs/skillsUse when a video needs its spoken words on screen through Scenario via MCP: burned-in styled captions for a TikTok, Reels, or Shorts cut, ad captions for sound-off feeds, YouTube subtitles, an SRT sidecar, transcription of a clip's audio, captions translated into another language, karaoke or word-by-word styles, or restyling and correcting an existing transcript. Keywords: captions, subtitles, SRT, transcribe, karaoke, word-by-word, burn in, closed captions, translate video, caption style.Media★ 1.2K
