glance-appwidget-updates-and-memory
From the author
Manages Android AppWidget state updates, background syncs, and RemoteViews bitmap memory limits with Jetpack Glance (androidx.glance:glance-appwidget) and AppWidgetProvider receivers on Android 17 (API 37). Use this skill when configuring Android 17 (API level 37) compileSdk/targetSdk and AndroidManifest.xml widget receivers, refreshing frozen or stale Glance widget UI after CoroutineWorker DataStore preference updates (updateAppWidgetState), downsampling images within the WindowMetrics memory limit for SizeMode.Responsive, SizeMode.Exact, or LazyColumn, sharing content:// URIs with FileProvider, or fixing ActionCallback NoSuchMethodException and AppWidgetProvider ForegroundServiceStartNotAllowedException crashes with WorkManager. Don't use for Glance layout templates (suggest the glance-canonical-layouts skill) or in-app Compose screens.

- google-cloud-global-frontend-configurationgoogle/skillsGuides agents through a 6-step discovery process to design and deploy Google Cloud global external Application Load Balancers with Cloud CDN, Cloud Armor, and Service Extensions, mapping workload requirements to best-practice configurations. Use when: - Designing, configuring, or deploying a Google Cloud global external Application Load Balancer, Cloud CDN, Cloud Armor WAF, or Service Extensions. - Discovering existing Google Cloud resources (Cloud Storage, MIGs, GKE, Cloud Run) to use as backends. - Generating production-grade Terraform HCL or gcloud CLI scripts for global external Application Load Balancers. - Actuating deployments via Infrastructure Manager or bash scripts, including IAM pre-checks. - Detecting, analyzing, or reconciling configuration drift on deployed global external Application Load Balancers. Don't use for: - Non-Google Cloud load balancing or security configurations. - Purely regional or internal load balancing setups (unless part of a hybrid/failover global design).OfficialDesign★ 21.7K
- adaptiveandroid/skillsInstructions to make or update an app's UI so that it adapts to different Android devices including phones, tablets, foldables, laptops, desktop, TV, Auto, and XR. It includes how to handle different window sizes, pointing devices (such as mouse) and text entry devices (such as keyboard) using the Compose MediaQuery API, and how to preserve UI, navigation, scroll, and media playback state across configuration changes (such as folding/unfolding a foldable, rotating a device, or resizing a window). It also covers multi-pane layouts using Navigation3 Scenes, adaptive UI components (such as buttons) with varying target sizes, and adaptive layouts (including navigation areas - nav rails and nav bars) using the Compose Grid and FlexBox APIs. It also covers desktop experiences with keyboard shortcuts, tooltips and custom cursors.OfficialDesign★ 10K
