spec-extract
From the author
Turn an unwritten agreement into a checkable spec — pull the requirements out of this conversation, a ticket, a pasted thread, or a design discussion, and write them to the project's spec file as numbered, falsifiable claims. Use before starting a feature, when the user says "write this up", "turn this into a spec", "make a design doc", "what did we agree", "capture the requirements", or "create design.md"; when a review skill halts because no spec exists; and at the point a conversation has produced enough decisions that the next session would lose them. This produces the contract that `design-check` and `verify-feature` measure against — it does not verify anything itself.

- spec-authorllopresto87/CypressWrite an executable specification under docs/graph/specs/ that turns a clear goal into testable contracts. Use whenever a feature, endpoint, job, significant function, or AI interaction needs a contract that the tester can encode and the implementer can satisfy. Coordinates product (§3, §9), architect (§4, §6, §7), and tester (§10 testability review) into a single signed-off document. Specs are the source of truth for behavior (`rule.spec`).Planning★ 116
- spec-writingathola/claude-night-marketCreates clear, testable specifications from feature descriptions with user stories. Use when starting a new feature and needing a spec before planning.Writing★ 343
- write-specanthropics/knowledge-work-pluginsWrite a feature spec or PRD from a problem statement or feature idea. Use when turning a vague idea or user request into a structured document, scoping a feature with goals and non-goals, defining success metrics and acceptance criteria, or breaking a big ask into a phased spec.OfficialWriting★ 32.8K
- pm-spec-writingrampstackco/claude-skillsTranslate ideas, feature requests, or vague concepts into specific, actionable dev briefs. Use this skill whenever the user has an idea they want to build, a feature to spec out, a bug to file, a project to scope, or needs to convert a half-formed idea into a clear implementation brief. Triggers on I want to add, we should build, can we make, what is the plan for, how do we implement, dev brief, feature spec, PRD, user story, acceptance criteria, scope this, prioritize. Also triggers when the user has a list of things they want to build and needs help converting them into well-formed tasks.Writing★ 994
- speq-planmarconae/speq-skillPlans a feature or change through a clarifying interview, producing spec deltas, plan.md, and decision-log.md with adversarial review. Use to plan, spec, design, or scope a feature, change, removal, refactor, or fix, before any implementation.Planning★ 55
- close-specdzhng/skillsWhen a spec under specs/<feature>/ is done shipping (a write-spec build, or any planned task that produced a spec), archive it to specs/done/ and rewrite it from a build-plan into a durable rationale — the why, the principles, the invariants — pointing back to the real code for the how. Use when implementation has landed and the plan no longer matches what shipped, or the user says a feature/spec is finished. Pairs with [write-spec](../write-spec/SKILL.md) (the plan this closes) and [review](../review/SKILL.md) (run before closing).Planning★ 1.4K
