narrative-building
From the author
Drafts or audits a scientific paper’s introduction and framing — the real-world "why", an evidence audit, the funnel from theory to a falsifiable if-then with a named estimand, bridges across experiments, and a contribution list matched to the design. Use when the user asks to write, restructure, or critique an introduction, motivate or frame a paper, repair a gap-in-the-literature opening, sharpen or calibrate a contribution claim, or connect experiments into one argument. Sentence-level flow and wording are out of scope.

- research-architect-auditmmTheBest/Research-ArchitectUse when reviewing, revising, or deciding whether to complete a Research Architect draft, especially when its reference adaptation, design, evidence, citations, claim boundaries, copying risk, or missing upstream artifacts need an auditable diagnosis.Science★ 69
- scientific-writingK-Dense-AI/scientific-agent-skillsDrafts, revises, and audits scientific manuscripts or reports with explicit evidence provenance, reporting-guideline coverage, authorship accountability, confidentiality controls, and local consistency checks. Use for manuscript sections, references, declarations, tables, figures, or submission preparation when scientific accuracy and traceability matter.Science★ 54.5K
- literature-reviewscdenney/open-science-skillsBuilds or audits a literature review: evidence map, closest prior work, gap verdict, and synthesis plan. Use to check whether a contribution is novel, map what a literature establishes, or organize a review; systematic reviews get a protocol scaffold.Engineering★ 69
- paper-writingfcakyon/phd-skillsUse when the user wants to write, structure, or revise academic paper sections, improve notation consistency, or refine figures and tables. Triggers on phrases like "write the abstract", "structure the methods", "improve this section", "notation consistency", "figure refinement", or "paper structure".Science★ 433
- research-architect-draftmmTheBest/Research-ArchitectUse when a Research Architect project has an evidence-ready spine, evidence and claim trail, citation support, terminology/object identities, and display logic that need to become an evidence-first, promise-aware first draft or audited revision.Science★ 69
- refactor-structureShaishavMaisuria/research-paper-lifecycle-skillsDiagnoses and fixes a paper's argument architecture and narrative flow, independent of any venue. Checks whether the story is built in the right order, whether each section does its job, whether the intro promises what the body delivers, and whether the contribution -> evidence -> conclusion arc holds — then produces a restructuring plan (move / merge / split / cut sections) the author approves BEFORE anything is rewritten. Use when a researcher says "the structure is off", "it doesn't flow", "reviewers said it's hard to follow / disorganized / the story is unclear", "my intro over-promises", "related work is in the wrong place", "this section doesn't belong here", "reorganize my paper", "fix the narrative", or "the contributions don't match the results". Distinct from tailor-to-venue (venue/track fit, page limits, templates) and polish-prose (sentence-level wording). Bundles outline_extract.py to print the section tree + each section's opening sentence so the architecture is reviewable at a glance.Engineering★ 55
