From the author
Take a fuzzy idea (or an existing thing you want to improve) through a disciplined funnel — explore → pressure-test → converge — and produce one living CONCEPT_BRIEF.md: a locked concept + phased roadmap. Acts as a blunt, honest co-founder (permission to overrule you), forces a success metric and a kill criterion before any roadmap, and hands off cleanly to the prompt-pack skill for building. ALWAYS invoke when the user says any of "help me figure out what to build", "I have an idea for…", "is this idea any good", "pressure-test this idea", "should I build / should I rebuild X", "evaluate whether my app/idea is worth building", "where are we really at", "is this idea or app worth pursuing", "iron out / scope / spec this concept", or "turn my idea into a plan/roadmap". Also invoke proactively when someone is reasoning about WHAT to build or WHETHER an idea is worth it — before any code or prompt pack exists.

- idea-refineaddyosmani/agent-skillsRefines raw ideas into sharp, actionable concepts through structured divergent and convergent thinking. Use when an idea is still vague, when you need to stress-test assumptions before committing to a plan, or when you want to expand options before converging on one. Triggers on "ideate", "refine this idea", or "stress-test my plan".Testing★ 110.1K
- idea-geniehashgraph-online/awesome-codex-pluginsBrainstorm evidence-backed options for what to build, or stress-test an idea. Use when: deciding what to build next, comparing options or testing an idea.Testing★ 1.4K
- idea-refinementericrisco/rsc-harnessUse when a rough product, service, workflow or feature idea needs divergent options and assumption pressure-testing before it becomes a spec. Produces a decision brief with alternatives, evidence gaps, Not Now and a cheap experiment. NOT requirements or acceptance criteria (`specify`), NOT market sizing (`market-research`).Testing★ 255
- plan-interrogaterohitg00/pro-workflowStress-test a plan by walking its decision tree one question at a time. Use when the user wants to pressure-test a design before implementation.Planning★ 2.9K
- business-brainstormcoreyhaines31/makerskillsWhen you want to pressure-test a potential new business, product, or side project against the serial-founder filter. Not "marketing ideas for a product" (that's marketing-skills:marketing-ideas) — this is "should this business exist + can you win it." Runs the idea through a structured framework (problem, audience, wedge, monetization, moat, portfolio fit, distribution, energy fit, opportunity cost), checks domain availability via /domain, optionally triggers /deep-research for market validation, and outputs a viability brief: build / sleep on it / pass. Archives every idea to ~/.config/makerskills/business-brainstorm/archive/ so past work is searchable. Triggers on "/business-brainstorm," "/brainstorm," "new business idea," "should I build X," "pressure test this idea," "validate this idea," "is X a good business," "what about a [type] for [audience]."Planning★ 871
- ceo-advisorcbrock84/headcountPressure-tests a decision, plan, or idea before it is committed to — surfacing the assumption it rests on, the case against it, and what would have to be true for it to work. Use this when weighing options, when a plan needs challenging before commitment, when you have already decided and want a genuine gut check, when processing meeting notes into decisions, or when competing initiatives need ranking. Distinct from `chief-executive`, which owns direction; this one interrogates a specific decision.Testing★ 2.1K
