safe-migrations
From the author
Designs and executes compatibility-preserving migrations across APIs, schemas, frameworks, dependencies, protocols, storage, and infrastructure with baselines, coexistence, staged cutover, rollback or forward-fix paths, and explicit removal criteria. Use for deprecations, upgrades, data moves, contract changes, and replacing live implementations. Not for a local refactor with no external state or compatibility boundary.

- migration-engineeringmagnus919/agent-skillsPlan and execute safe cross-system migrations, including service extraction from monoliths. Use when moving data, schemas, interfaces, infrastructure, or service ownership through compatibility windows, dual-running, reconciliation, cutover, recovery, or deprecation. Do not use for deciding whether decomposition is justified, designing a target architecture, or implementing one named technology; route those to the relevant architecture or specialist skill.DevOps★ 147
- release-and-deploymentcbrock84/headcountShips changes safely and often — pipelines, deployment strategies, feature flags, rollback, and database changes. Use this to design a deployment pipeline, reduce release risk, roll out a risky change gradually, plan a schema migration, or work out why releases are infrequent and frightening.DevOps★ 2.1K
- db-migrationa-pavithraa/springboot-skills-marketplaceWrites a Flyway database migration for this project following the team's rules for naming, editing and renaming, so migrations from different developers don't collide and deployed databases stay valid. Use whenever a change needs a new table, column, index or data fix, or the user mentions a schema change or migration.DevOps★ 80
- migration-architectalirezarezvani/claude-skillsZero-downtime migration planning, compatibility validation, and rollback strategy generation. Tools for system, database, and infrastructure migrations with minimal business impact. Use when planning a database migration, infrastructure cutover, system replacement, or any high-risk transition that needs explicit rollback paths.Planning★ 28.6K
- deploymentnahid-sparktales/agent-dispatcherPrepare and run a release you can explain and undo — exact artifact identity, environment parity, config and secrets, a rollout strategy matched to blast radius, and a preflight that names the abort condition in advance. Use when planning or performing a deploy, building a release path, or when someone says "ship it" and the steps are not written down anywhere. Not for proving the deployed thing is healthy (release-verification) or for getting back out (rollback), and it never treats a green build or an approved plan as permission to deploy.DevOps★ 59
- deprecation-and-migrationaddyosmani/agent-skillsManages deprecation and migration. Use when removing old systems, APIs, or features. Use when migrating users from one implementation to another. Use when migrating a database schema in production, such as renaming or dropping a column without downtime (expand/contract). Use when deciding whether to maintain or sunset existing code.Data★ 110.1K
