create-experiment
From the author
Thin compatibility entrypoint for creating a new Harness FME experiment. Invokes manage-experiments' Create experiment flow directly - same scope, parent/environment resolution, hypothesis, metrics, treatments, window, and rule - and returns the created experiment id plus verification. Use when asked to create an experiment, set up an A/B test, or design a new experiment. Do NOT use for updating, pausing, resuming, completing, archiving, or deleting an experiment (manage-experiments), or for explaining results (review-experiment-results). Trigger phrases: create experiment, set up an A/B test, design an experiment, launch a test, new experiment for X.

- manage-experimentsharness/harness-skillsCreate, update (metrics, dates, description, hypothesis, baseline/comparison treatments, status), or delete Harness FME feature-flag experiments. Delegates metric selection to choose-metric, metric creation to create-metric, event wiring to instrument-metric, results to review-experiment-results, flag/definition prep to create-feature-flag and update-flag-targeting. Use when asked to create, modify, pause, resume, complete, or delete an experiment. Do not use for explaining results (review-experiment-results). Trigger phrases: create experiment, set up A/B test, design experiment, launch test, update experiment, pause/resume/complete experiment, delete experiment.Testing★ 125
- create-metricharness/harness-skillsCreate a Harness FME metric: helps decide what to measure, suggests candidate metrics from application code, resolves traffic type and event type IDs, drafts the payload, then creates. Use when asked to create or define a new metric, decide what to measure, or get metric suggestions from application code. Doesn't attach metrics to experiments (manage-experiments) or add the tracking call (instrument-metric). Trigger phrases: create/define a metric, new metric, what metrics should we create, suggest metrics.Engineering★ 125
- create-feature-flagharness/harness-skillsCreate a new Harness FME feature flag and its per-environment definitions with a safe default, following the project's naming and tagging conventions. Use when asked to create a feature flag, add a flag, set up a new FME flag, or initialize flag targeting. Flag/definition writes only: does not gate application code (instrument-feature-flag) and is not a first-time onboarding entry point (feature-flag-onboarding). Do not use for updating existing flag targeting (update-flag-targeting), deep analysis of a single flag (explain-flag), listing/discovering flags (discover-feature-flags), flag lifecycle like archive/delete (manage-flag-lifecycle), segments (manage-segments), experiments (manage-experiments), pipeline rollouts (fme-pipeline), or removing flags from code (cleanup-feature-flags). Trigger phrases: create feature flag, add flag, new flag, set up flag, FME flag create, initialize flag.Writing★ 125
- create-connectorharness/harness-skillsGenerate Harness Connector YAML for integrations and create/test via MCP. Use when user says "create connector", "git connector", "aws connector", "docker connector", "cloud connector", or wants to connect Harness to external services.Testing★ 125
- instrument-feature-flagharness/harness-skillsGate application code behind an existing Harness FME feature flag. Detect the app's language, framework and any existing flag wrapper first; ask only what that can't resolve (target app, subject identity, gating point, treatment/config/fallback names, extension needs). Prefer an existing wrapper; otherwise propose a thin, customer-extensible facade or hook — never a new framework or second SDK client — approved before editing. Map named treatments to branches with a safe, non-boolean-coerced fallback, then add tests at the wrapper and call-site boundary. New flags delegate to create-feature-flag with the one environment actually selected; missing targeting delegates to update-flag-targeting under fresh approval. Not for flag creation alone, metrics (choose-metric, create-metric, instrument-metric), or first-time onboarding (feature-flag-onboarding). Trigger phrases: gate this code behind a flag, add flag check, wire up getTreatment, add SDK evaluation call.Testing★ 125
- experiment-designrampstackco/claude-skillsA discipline for designing experiments (A/B tests, multivariate, holdouts) so the results actually answer the question you asked. Hypothesis writing, sample size, duration, segment analysis, running discipline, matching a result to a pre-committed decision rule, and the common failure modes that produce confidently wrong shipping decisions. Use this skill whenever the user is planning a test that has not run yet: framing a hypothesis, sizing the sample, setting duration, choosing guardrails, or deciding whether something is worth testing at all. Triggers on design an experiment, experiment plan, A/B test, split test, multivariate test, holdout, experiment hypothesis, sample size, minimum detectable effect, MDE, test duration, guardrail metric, no peeking, pre-committed decision rule, is this worth testing. Use `experimentation-analytics` instead when the test has already run and the question is how to read the result panel.Design★ 992
