go-linting
From the author
Use when setting up linting for a Go project, configuring golangci-lint, or adding Go checks to a CI/CD pipeline. Also use when starting a new Go project and deciding which linters to enable, even if the user only asks about "code quality" or "static analysis" without mentioning specific linter names. Does not cover code review process (see go-code-review).

- golang-lintsamber/cc-skills-golangLinting best practices and golangci-lint configuration for Golang projects — running linters, configuring .golangci.yml, suppressing warnings with nolint directives, interpreting lint output, and selecting linters. Use when configuring golangci-lint, asking about lint warnings or nolint suppressions, setting up code quality tooling, or choosing linters. Also use when the user mentions golangci-lint, go vet, staticcheck, or revive. Not for wiring a lint step into a GitHub Actions pipeline (→ See `samber/cc-skills-golang@golang-continuous-integration` skill).DevOps★ 3.7K
- golang-continuous-integrationsamber/cc-skills-golangGitHub Actions CI/CD pipeline configuration for Golang projects — workflow files for test, lint, SAST, coverage and vulnerability-scan jobs, Dependabot and Renovate config files, GoReleaser release pipelines, Docker build/push, repository security settings, and AI-driven PR review. Use when setting up or improving Go project CI, writing or fixing `.github/workflows/*.yml`, adding a linter or security scanner as a pipeline job, wiring automated dependency-update bots, or adding quality gates. Covers wiring tools into a pipeline, not the analysis they perform: do NOT use for choosing or interpreting security findings (→ See `samber/cc-skills-golang@golang-security` skill) or for choosing, upgrading, or auditing dependency versions (→ See `samber/cc-skills-golang@golang-dependency-management` skill).Security★ 3.7K

Use when building, modifying, or reviewing a Go CLI tool — especially for command structure, flag handling, configuration layering, version embedding, exit codes, I/O patterns, signal handling, shell completion, argument validation, and CLI unit testing. Also triggers when code uses cobra, viper, or urfave/cli. For cobra-specific APIs → See `samber/cc-skills-golang@golang-spf13-cobra` skill; for viper configuration layering → See `samber/cc-skills-golang@golang-spf13-viper` skill.Engineering★ 3.7K

Also use when starting a new Go project or splitting a growing codebase into packages, even if the user doesn't explicitly ask about package organization. Use when reviewing .go files, checking error handling, goroutine usage, or interface design.
