test-case-reducer
From the author
Automatically reduces bug-triggering test cases to minimal form while preserving the failure. Use when debugging with large, complex test cases that need simplification, reproducing bugs with minimal examples, or creating regression tests from verbose failure scenarios. Takes a failing test and systematically removes unnecessary inputs, steps, assertions, and code using delta debugging and other reduction algorithms. Supports unit tests, integration tests, input files, and multiple programming languages (Python, JavaScript, Java, C/C++).

- test-deduplicatorArabelaTso/Skills-4-SEAnalyzes test suites to identify redundant and duplicate test cases using coverage analysis, semantic similarity, and execution results. Use this skill when you need to reduce test suite size, identify redundant tests, optimize test execution time, analyze test coverage overlap, find tests with identical behavior, or improve test suite maintainability. Triggers when users ask to deduplicate tests, find redundant test cases, reduce test suite size, identify duplicate tests, or optimize test coverage.Testing★ 259
- test-guided-bug-detectorArabelaTso/Skills-4-SEAnalyze failing tests to detect functional bugs in code. Takes repository and failing test output as input, analyzes execution behavior, assertions, and stack traces to identify suspicious code regions and root causes. Use when debugging test failures, investigating regression bugs, or understanding why tests fail. Explains the bug mechanism, identifies affected code, and suggests fixes based on test expectations vs actual behavior.Testing★ 259
- java-regression-test-generatorArabelaTso/Skills-4-SEAutomatically generate regression tests for Java codebases by analyzing changes between old and new code versions. Use when users need to: (1) Generate tests after refactoring or code changes, (2) Ensure previously tested behavior still works in new versions, (3) Cover modified or newly added code paths, (4) Migrate existing tests to work with updated APIs or signatures, (5) Maintain test coverage during code evolution. Supports JUnit and TestNG frameworks with unit tests, parameterized tests, and exception testing patterns.Testing★ 259
- regression-testingnahid-sparktales/agent-dispatcherTurn a fixed bug into a test that fails on the old code and passes on the new one. Assert behavior at the cheapest useful level and compare old behavior without reverting unrelated work or leaving scratch files. Use after a fix or when recurring defects lack coverage; not for a new feature's test strategy or an environmental/cosmetic failure.Testing★ 59
- diagnoseAvdLee/RocketSimAppDisciplined diagnosis loop for hard bugs and performance regressions. Reproduce → minimise → hypothesise → instrument → fix → regression-test. Use when user says "diagnose this" / "debug this", reports a bug, says something is broken/throwing/failing, or describes a performance regression.Testing★ 810
- root-cause-debuggingthiientv/godmodeInvestigates a bug, failing test, build error, regression, flaky behavior, performance symptom, or unexpected result by reproducing it, minimizing the case, testing ranked hypotheses, tracing the first incorrect state, and locking the root cause with a regression check. Use before proposing a fix. Not for planning a new feature or reviewing a healthy diff.Engineering★ 99
