measure-instrumentation-spec
From the author
Specifies what analytics events to track, when they fire, and what properties to include, as a contract between product and engineering that prevents undertracked features. Use before engineering builds a feature or when auditing existing tracking for gaps. For the dashboard built on top of these events, use measure-dashboard-requirements instead.

- measure-dashboard-requirementsproduct-on-purpose/pm-skillsSpecifies what questions a dashboard must answer and the metrics, visualizations, filters, and data sources it needs, so data teams build something that informs decisions rather than displaying numbers. Use when requesting a dashboard or formalizing ad-hoc reporting. For the event tracking that feeds the dashboard, use measure-instrumentation-spec instead; instrument first, visualize second.Planning★ 757

- marketing-analyticscbrock84/headcountSets up, audits, and reports on marketing measurement — tracking plans, event schemas, attribution models, and the dashboards built on them. Use this to instrument a site or product, audit tracking nobody trusts, choose or interpret an attribution model, build reporting that answers a specific question, or reconcile numbers that disagree between tools.Data★ 2.1K
- product-analytics-and-measurementmagnus919/agent-skillsDefine observable, governed evidence for product outcomes through metric trees, event/tracking plans, instrumentation QA, and measurement governance. Use when defining product metrics, designing tracking plans, building event taxonomies, running product funnels or cohort analysis, setting up dashboard contracts, or auditing instrumentation quality. Do NOT use for statistical inference or experiment design (route to data-scientist), data pipeline implementation (route to data-engineering), data architecture decisions (route to data-architect), observability or infrastructure monitoring (route to site-reliability-engineering), or general business intelligence and dashboard building (route to BI tooling).Data★ 147

- implementation-planningcbrock84/headcountTurns a spec or requirement into a written plan a separate session or agent can execute, then drives that plan through review checkpoints. Use this before touching code on any multi-step task, when work needs handing to someone else, when a task keeps sprawling mid-implementation, or when a plan exists and needs executing in order with verification between steps.Planning★ 2.1K
