session-handoff-prompt
From the author
Create a concise continuation prompt that a fresh agent session can paste in to resume a long or degraded session. Use when the user asks for a handoff prompt, restart prompt, continuation prompt, context transfer, fresh-session resume, or a compact summary for opening a new session. Do not use for ordinary summaries, task-forest maintenance, durable user-profile updates, automatic session creation, code execution, or external publishing.

- session-handoffrohitg00/pro-workflowGenerate a structured handoff document capturing current progress, open tasks, key decisions, and context needed to resume work. Use when ending a session, saying "continue later", "save progress", "session summary", or "pick up where I left off".Productivity★ 2.9K
- handoffthedotmack/claude-memGenerate a HANDOFF.md that captures goal, current state, files touched, failed attempts, and next steps — so a fresh Claude session can continue exactly where this one left off. Use when sessions are getting long, Claude keeps retrying the same broken solution, or the user wants to step away and resume later.Other★ 102.4K
- pause-and-resumedongshuyan/compass-skillsCooperatively pause unfinished work in the current session, leave a precise continuation checkpoint, and resume from it when the user later says continue. Use only when the user explicitly requests this pause workflow. Do not use for crashes, app shutdown, new-session handoffs, or ordinary task summaries.Productivity★ 760
- handoff-protocolsrohitg00/skillkitManages work transitions between team members or agents by creating structured handoff documents, summarizing project status, documenting key decisions, blockers, and open questions, and generating onboarding briefs. Use when someone needs to hand off, hand over, or transition a project; pass work to another person or agent; brief a colleague taking over; prepare a shift change summary; or onboard someone mid-task. Produces ready-to-use handoff documents covering current status, next steps, known issues, technical context, and communication templates for both planned and unplanned transfers.Planning★ 1.6K
- handoverhashgraph-online/awesome-codex-pluginsSummarize the current work state and prepare a handover note for the next session.Productivity★ 1.4K
- debriefdavepoon/buildwithclaudeAlias for `/origin:handoff` — symmetric brief/debrief naming. Same behavior: end-of-session ritual that writes session log + project status + granular MCP captures. Invoked as `/debrief`. Use when the user prefers the brief/debrief pair over brief/handoff.Writing★ 3.7K
