california-bar-complete
From the author
Complete prep for all three scored components of the California Bar Exam: the five written ESSAYS (13 subjects — Business Associations, Civil Procedure, Community Property, Constitutional Law, Contracts, Criminal Law & Procedure, Evidence, Professional Responsibility, Real Property, Remedies, Torts, Trusts, Wills & Succession), the PERFORMANCE TEST, and the multiple-choice MBE (7 subjects). Trigger whenever someone is studying for the California bar (or the MBE) and says things like: "give me the rule for [issue]", "big issues in [subject]", "drill/quiz me on [topic]", "MBE questions on [subject]", "teach me [doctrine]", "build an attack outline", "grade my essay", "memorizable paragraph for [issue]", "performance test approach", or "make a study plan" — or names any tested essay/MBE subject in a study, memorization, drilling, or practice-question context. Also trigger when a student uploads a practice essay, PT, or question set to be graded or turned into rule blocks. When in doubt during bar prep, trigger.

- employment-law-researchlawve-ai/awesome-legal-skillsResearch a US employment law topic across federal, state, and city jurisdictions and produce structured research notes with proper source attribution. Use this skill any time the user asks about US employment laws, regulations, or pending legislation - from a single jurisdiction question to a 50-state survey. Triggers include phrases like "research [employment law topic]", "what are the laws on [employment topic]", "state-by-state [employment topic]", "help me understand [topic] across the US", or any prompt that asks for a legal landscape overview before another deliverable. Always run this BEFORE the employment-law-dashboard skill if a dashboard is the eventual output. Output is a structured research note that distinguishes primary sources (statutes, regs, agency guidance) from secondary sources (law firm alerts, tracker orgs).Science★ 929
- reasoningjeremylongshore/tons-of-skills-marketplaceUse BEFORE answering analytical, diagnostic, planning, or multi-step reasoning questions. Trigger phrases include "should I X or Y", "why is X happening", "what's the best approach", "what are the tradeoffs", "help me think through", "diagnose", "root cause", "plan/design X", "what are the implications of", "compare these approaches". Also fires on cross-domain analysis, strategy questions, architecture decisions, or anything requiring multiple factors to be weighed before responding. The skill calls the reasoning MCP tool to retrieve a cognitive scaffold (named failure pattern, executable procedure, suppression vectors, falsification test) the model absorbs internally before generating its response. Catches causal shortcuts, premature conclusions, generic templates, and surface pattern matching that produce confidently-wrong answers. Do NOT trigger for simple factual lookups, syntax questions, file reads, code execution, or restating the user's input.Testing★ 2.9K
- risk-method-draftingbetter-isms/grcskillsUse this skill when a company needs a written risk assessment method before it builds or rescores a register, or when the current method produces registers where everything scores 3. Triggers: "write our risk methodology", "define likelihood and impact scales", "what is our risk appetite", "risk acceptance criteria", "who can accept a risk", "our auditor says the method is not repeatable", "risk matrix for our ISMS". Drafts a short method with likelihood and impact anchors in the company's own money, hours and records, a scoring rule, an acceptance threshold with an authority ladder, reassessment triggers, and a calibration test on five sample risks.Testing★ 53
- continuous-improvement-engine-scott-margettslawve-ai/awesome-legal-skillsCapture, structure, and recycle lessons from active and closed legal matters. Three modes: in-flight capture (triggered by scope changes, risk events, status updates — highest value), mid-matter review (phase gates or quarterly), and matter close retrospective (full structured findings). Lessons are formatted for immediate reuse, not filed and forgotten. Use when a risk materialises, a scope change lands, a phase completes, or a matter closes and you want to convert what happened into something useful for the next matter. Trigger on: 'capture a lesson', 'what did we learn', 'matter close', 'retrospective', 'lessons learned', 'what went wrong', 'what worked', 'phase gate review', 'debrief', 'extract the learning', 'close the matter', 'what should we do differently', 'pattern from this matter', 'improve the next one'.Legal★ 929
