From the author
Record a decision, document existing code, or file a supplied research material, in free text; no first word is a mode. Use for 'we decided', 'record this decision', 'document why we chose X', 'make it our standard', 'draft an RFC', 'should we switch to Y' proposals, 'resolve the RFC', 'we accepted the proposal', 'document the auth module', 'capture how the payment system works', reference material, how-to instructions, a repeated agent procedure, a user flow with examples over an existing spec, or a finished report or one external material already in hand. Name any document type inside the subject — journey, prd, idea, or cpat included — to get exactly that type. Planning a feature, an investigation not yet done, or an intended user journey the request asks to plan ('plan the onboarding journey') → /archcore:plan. Checking docs against code or docs health → /archcore:review.

- planhashgraph-online/awesome-codex-pluginsPlan future work, investigate before building, research a topic, or compare the alternatives for a choice. Takes optional free text. The skill reads the request, open drafts, accepted canon, branch, and code, then creates only the documents a later reader needs — none for a small fix. Use for 'plan the X redesign', 'create a roadmap', 'plan a new feature', 'plan the onboarding journey', 'investigate X before we plan', 'compare the alternatives for Y', 'REST or a queue? two teams disagree', 'I need market research before we plan', 'we are regulated — trace the requirements'. With no arguments it resumes an open planning draft or offers what to plan next. Not for recording a decision or documenting existing code — use /archcore:document. Not for checking docs against code — use /archcore:review.Planning★ 1.4K
- documentation-and-adrsaddyosmani/agent-skillsRecords decisions and documentation. Use when you need to document an architecture decision (ADR) or the reasoning behind a design choice, when changing public APIs, shipping features, or when you need to record context that future engineers and agents will need to understand the codebase.Design★ 109.1K
- routerhashgraph-online/awesome-codex-pluginsFind the right doc before reading code. Use when asked "where is X documented", "is there a spec/ADR for X", "what's the roadmap", "open bugs", "read the docs about X", or "share the docs".Planning★ 1.4K
- frame-a-proposalinkeep/open-knowledgeFrame a new design proposal (RFC-shape) under proposals/ — problem before solution, named beneficiary and observable change, real alternatives, honest drawbacks, and a live open-questions backlog. Read when asked to frame a proposal, write an RFC, propose a design, pitch a change, draft a PRD-style design doc, or open a design proposal for review. Do NOT read to record a decision after it is accepted (use record-a-decision), to write an implementation spec (use write-a-spec), to write a postmortem (use write-a-postmortem), or to review or critique an existing design (use review-a-design).Design★ 4.6K
- docxanthropics/skillsUse this skill whenever the user wants to create, read, edit, or manipulate Word documents (.docx files) or Word templates (.dotx files). Triggers include: any mention of 'Word doc', 'word document', '.docx', '.dotx', or requests to produce professional documents with formatting like tables of contents, headings, page numbers, or letterheads. Also use when extracting or reorganizing content from .docx or .dotx files, inserting or replacing images in documents, performing find-and-replace in Word files, working with tracked changes or comments, or converting content into a polished Word document. If the user asks for a 'report', 'memo', 'letter', 'template', or similar deliverable as a Word or .docx file, use this skill. Do NOT use for PDFs, spreadsheets, Google Docs, or general coding tasks unrelated to document generation.OfficialDocuments★ 182.6K
- documentationanthropics/knowledge-work-pluginsWrite and maintain technical documentation. Trigger with "write docs for", "document this", "create a README", "write a runbook", "onboarding guide", or when the user needs help with any form of technical writing — API docs, architecture docs, or operational runbooks.OfficialWriting★ 31K
