cloud-run-alert-configuration
From the author
Configures best-practice, high-signal alerting policies for Cloud Run resources on Google Cloud (services, jobs, and worker pools) based on seasoned SRE practices. Use when analyzing, recommending, writing, or deploying Terraform PromQL alerting policies to monitor Cloud Run error rates (4xx/5xx), request latency, container instance saturation (warning/critical), container CPU/memory utilization and allocation, billable instance time, job execution status, and worker pool queue backlog. Don't use for GKE workloads (use gke-alert-configuration) or Compute Engine VMs.

- gke-alert-configurationgoogle/skillsConfigures alerting policies in Terraform for Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) clusters, workloads, and services using PromQL and Google Cloud Managed Service for Prometheus. Use when writing, analyzing, validating, or deploying Terraform alerting policies to monitor GKE service latency, traffic, error rates using Multi-Window Multi-Burn-Rate SLO alerts, memory saturation, and cluster health such as CrashLoopBackOff and Node NotReady conditions. Don't use for non-GKE compute runtimes such as standalone Compute Engine VMs or standalone Cloud Run services without GKE.OfficialDevOps★ 21.5K
- google-cloud-slo-alert-configurationgoogle/skillsConfigures Cloud Monitoring PromQL-based Service Level Objective (SLO) alerting policies on Google Cloud for resources registered in App Hub or individually specified. Generates Terraform output. Use when the user asks to configure an SLO or Service Level Objective. Don't use for standard alerting policies.OfficialDevOps★ 21.5K
- cloud-monitoring-notification-channels-configurationgoogle/skillsGenerates Terraform HCL configurations for Cloud Monitoring notification channels (`google_monitoring_notification_channel`) and adds notification channels to alerting policies (`google_monitoring_alert_policy`) in Google Cloud projects. Use when creating or configuring email, SMS, Slack, PagerDuty, Pub/Sub, or webhook notification channels, verifying Pub/Sub topic compatibility (including cross-project topics, message storage policies, and in-transit enforcement) and publishing permissions for the Cloud Monitoring Service Agent, or adding notification channels to existing alert policies. Don't use for authoring or editing alerting policy conditions, selecting metric descriptors, or writing PromQL or Monitoring Filter queries.OfficialDevOps★ 21.5K
- google-cloud-global-frontend-configurationgoogle/skillsGuides agents through a 6-step discovery process to design and deploy Google Cloud global external Application Load Balancers with Cloud CDN, Cloud Armor, and Service Extensions, mapping workload requirements to best-practice configurations. Use when: - Designing, configuring, or deploying a Google Cloud global external Application Load Balancer, Cloud CDN, Cloud Armor WAF, or Service Extensions. - Discovering existing Google Cloud resources (Cloud Storage, MIGs, GKE, Cloud Run) to use as backends. - Generating production-grade Terraform HCL or gcloud CLI scripts for global external Application Load Balancers. - Actuating deployments via Infrastructure Manager or bash scripts, including IAM pre-checks. - Detecting, analyzing, or reconciling configuration drift on deployed global external Application Load Balancers. Don't use for: - Non-Google Cloud load balancing or security configurations. - Purely regional or internal load balancing setups (unless part of a hybrid/failover global design).OfficialDesign★ 21.5K
