aiqbench analysis
This review critically assesses Anthropic's August 2026 Risk Report regarding automated R&D acceleration, arguing that while catastrophic risks were low, the company likely crossed its early warning thresholds earlier than publicly stated. The analysis highlights contested judgment calls in Anthropic's threat modeling and suggests the public report understates the actual pace of capability progress within their internal deployments.
