This review establishes that self-sustained collective oscillations can now be maintained within quantum many-body systems, extending classical synchronization principles into the quantum regime through multi-parameter control. By bridging theoretical frameworks with experimental capabilities across international collaborations, this work advances our ability to orchestrate complex quantum operations without relying solely on external driving forces. Such progress is critical for developing stable quantum networks and coherent processing units where phase stability is paramount.
Quantum Synchronization Achieved Across Multiple Qubit Degrees of Freedom

Natural and engineered classical systems are replete with examples of synchronization, understood as the adjustment of rhythms of physical systems. Quantum Synchronization explores this adjustment, a phenomenon observed in both natural and engineered classical systems.
Researchers at the Universität Tübingen, alongside collaborators at institutions in Brazil, Italy, India, Japan, and Spain, have surveyed synchronization in few and many-body quantum systems. This review builds upon the understanding that synchronization is a fundamental classical phenomenon for understanding natural and artificial systems. Parvinder Solanki and Albert Cabot, as authors of this review, have contributed to the understanding of this topic. The work originates from the Institut für Theoretische Physik and Center for Integrated Quantum Science and Technology, and includes affiliations with the Institute for Cross-Disciplinary Physics and Complex Systems (IFISC)…
