Motive Inc., the San Francisco-based artificial intelligence platform provider for physical operations, today announced the launch of Agents, a new capability that automatically responds to safety, maintenance and operational issues before they escalate into accidents, costly breakdowns or business disruptions. The new Agents platform moves beyond alerts to automatically contact drivers, initiate maintenance and coordinate operational responses. The launch advances Motive’s strategy to bring agentic AI to the physical economy. Motive’s technology uses operational data already collected through their platform to identify potential problems and initiate corrective actions. Agents can contact drivers, create maintenance work orders, alert managers and coordinate responses across fleet operations without requiring personnel to manually process every notification. The launch targets one of the biggest challenges facing transportation, logistics, construction and other physical industries: Organizations have more operational data than ever, but acting on that information still requires significant manual coordination. Motive estimates that companies lose approximately $46 billion to preventable operational problems, including vehicle downtime, compliance violations and unnecessary idling. According to the company’s 2026 ROI Report, 42% of surveyed organizations cite operational inefficiencies, including excessive administrative work, as a leading concern. “Our customers don’t need another alert. They need action,” said…
