36Kr1 min read

As the U.S. stock market moves toward effectively "24-hour trading," options linked to stocks will also see expanded trading hours. According to an announcement from the Cboe Global Markets (Cboe), Cboe Options Exchange (C1) will begin adding early-morning and after-hours trading sessions for options on select stocks and ETFs next Monday. Options on popular companies including Alibaba, TSMC, Nvidia, Apple and Tesla are covered by the announcement. For investors, the most direct change is that these stock options can now be traded during the U.S. pre-market session from 7:30 a.m. to 9:25 a.m. Eastern Time, and can continue trading for 15 minutes after the regular session closes.
