Indonesia Stock Exchange Adjusts Circuit Breaker Mechanism for Low-Price Stocks
The Indonesia Stock Exchange announced adjustments to the Automatic Rejection of Bids (ARB) mechanism for stocks priced between 11 and 14 Indonesian rupiah per share, changing the circuit breaker limit from 7% to 1 Indonesian rupiah per share. The new rules apply to securities listed on the Main Board, Development Board, and New Economy Board and are tentatively in effect until December 31, 2026, after which an evaluation will determine whether to extend them. This adjustment follows further assessment of the asymmetric 7% circuit breaker mechanism implemented by the exchange on October 19.
