On October 19, Wang Guanhua, spokesperson for the National Bureau of Statistics and head of the Comprehensive Statistical Division of the National Economic Commission, stated at a press conference organized by the State Council Information Office that the 'AI+' initiative has significantly driven investment and exports in emerging sectors during the first three quarters. The expansion of AI applications has spurred continuous investment and production scaling across upstream and downstream parts of the industry chain. For instance, investment in electronic circuit manufacturing, integrated circuit manufacturing, and information services grew by 58.7%, 14.2%, and 20.2% respectively in the first three quarters. Supported by the 'two new' policies, enterprises have accelerated their digital transformation, driving a 9.7% increase in equipment acquisition investment. Meanwhile, leveraging full-chain supporting advantages, China has rapidly launched AI hardware and software products tailored to various scenarios, precisely meeting overseas market demand. In the first three quarters, exports of electronic components and electrical wires and cables grew by 70% and 25.3% respectively. Terminal products such as AI glasses and intelligent bionic robots continue to enrich global AI application scenarios.
