Vice Minister of Commerce Yan Dong said at a State Council Information Office press conference that over the past year, China has adhered to coordinated efforts across "policies, events and platforms," holding nearly 100 "Exporting to China" events in total to provide more channels for high-quality products from various countries to enter the Chinese market. According to statistics from the General Administration of Customs, China's imports reached 16.7 trillion yuan in the first nine months of this year, up 22.3%, the fastest growth since 2021. Over the past year, preparations for the China International Import Expo have been closely linked with the "Exporting to China" brand events, with the following main features: first, jointly enhancing international influence; second, working together to expand the vast Chinese market; and third, jointly unleashing the dividends of import policies. Going forward, China will actively respond to the demands of trading partners and continue to optimize import facilitation measures, promoting the Chinese market to become a market shared by the world.
