Electronic Fabric Prices Continue Rising as High-End Capacity Set to Be Released

36Kr1 min read

Electronic fabric prices extended their upward trend this month, and related listed companies are accelerating their deployment of high-performance products such as low-dielectric and low-thermal-expansion-coefficient materials, adjusting their product mix through new capacity and technological upgrades. A research report released by Guojin Securities on October 9 showed that since the beginning of this month, the price of 7628-type electronic fabric has risen again by 1.5 yuan per meter, G75 electronic yarn has increased by 3,000 yuan per ton, and thin fabrics of the 2116 and 1080 types have each risen by 2.5 yuan per meter. The report attributes the continued price increases to factors including tight supply of weaving looms, stronger-than-expected downstream demand, and the continued rise in copper-clad laminate prices.
