Tesla Energy Head Steps Down
According to a report citing sources, Mike Snyder, Tesla's vice president of energy and charging, has left his post. His personal page shows that Snyder joined Tesla in 2014 and was later promoted step by step, eventually overseeing the company's Megapack industrial battery business. In 2024, after Tesla carried out a company-wide restructuring and layoffs, Snyder was promoted to vice president. At the time, several Tesla executives departed, including Drew Bagliino, who had long led the energy business. Sources said AJ Booth, senior director of energy product engineering, will succeed him in the role. (Caixin)
