The work is a proof of concept, not a grid deployment. It splits large energy-scheduling problems into subproblems of up to 50 qubits and reports roughly a threefold cut in IBM hardware execution time via spatial circuit packing. Readers should note that the comparisons are against classical baselines on benchmark models, and the claimed gains in scheduling rounds and solution accuracy have not been tested on a live power system.
