Continuous variable payload transmitter for the SPOQC mission

arXiv1 min read

arXiv:2611.07861v1 Announce Type: new Abstract: The continuous variable (CV) quantum key distribution (QKD) scheme enables two parties to share a secret key separated by a certain distance. Here we propose, design, build, test and show results of a CV payload transmitter, intended to demonstrate downlink based QKD from a CubeSat in low earth orbit. This is part of the SPOQC mission by Quantum Communications Hub, UK which was successfully launched on March 2026.
