BERKELEY AMO/QI SEMINAR: Hartmut Haeffner, UC Berkeley
Qual Club with Hartmut Haeffner September 30, 2026 The post BERKELEY AMO/QI SEMINAR: Hartmut Haeffner, UC Berkeley appeared first on Challenge Institute for Quantum Computation.
The AMO Qual Club is meant for our early-career graduate students who are learning broadly about AMO physics in preparation for their qualifying examination. This event is for early-career graduate students who have not passed their qualifying exam. In an effort to keep the gatherings more informal and less stressful, we ask professors, postdocs, undergraduate students, visitors, and other researchers not to join us for this meeting.
Format: After a general discussion about the qual-exam, we will do practice sessions. To make it most effective, I suggest that you pick acouple of topics from above and prepare for them as you would for your qualification exam and be ready to present aspects of it.
