General Administration of Customs: China's Ship Exports Surpass 350 Billion Yuan in First Three Quarters, Up 24.6%
Wang Jun, spokesperson and deputy director-general of the General Administration of Customs, stated at a press conference organized by the State Council Information Office that during the first three quarters, China's ship exports exceeded 350 billion yuan, a 24.6% increase. Among them, oil tankers of 300,000 tons and large liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and liquefied natural gas (LNG) carriers achieved double-digit growth, while green fuel ship types such as methanol and ammonia continued to iterate and upgrade, adding 'fuel' and 'gas' to global energy transport. The industrial robot sector accelerated digital and intelligent empowerment, with exports nearing 10 billion yuan and a 16.9% increase, aiding the technological transformation and upgrading of manufacturing industries in trade partners. Electronic component exports grew by 70%, while electrical equipment such as wires and cables increased by 25.3%, strengthening 'chips' and 'pulses' for global AI computing power and power infrastructure development. Amidst instability in the Middle East and tight supplies of global energy and chemical raw materials, China's basic organic chemicals exports rose by 24.4% and primary plastics by 32.2% during the first three quarters, providing 'liquid' and 'materials' for production worldwide.
