CSRC: Over 3,000 Public Mutual Fund Products Participate in Beijing Stock Exchange Market Investment
On October 21, Shang Qingjun, the first-level inspector of the Division for Supervision of Listed Companies at the CSRC, delivered a keynote speech titled 'Anchoring Service to Innovative SMEs: Promoting High-Quality Development of the BSE and NEEQ' at the 2026 Financial Street Forum Annual Conference. Shang noted that starting with the initial 81 listed companies upon launch, the number of listed firms on the Beijing Stock Exchange (BSE) has grown to 351, cumulatively facilitating nearly 90 billion yuan in financing for SMEs. Among these listed companies, over 60% are national-level 'Specialized and New' 'Little Giants,' more than 90% are high-tech enterprises, and over 80% belong to strategic emerging industries, with a cluster of representative high-quality SMEs emerging in sub-sectors such as new materials, advanced equipment, and next-generation information technology. More than 3,000 public mutual fund products have participated in BSE market investment, involving nearly 11.7 million qualified investors—a near doubling since the exchange's launch. Since the establishment of the BSE, over 1,400 new companies have been listed on the National Equities Exchange and Quotations (NEEQ), nearly half of which are national-level 'Specialized and New' 'Little Giants,' raising over 16 billion yuan in financing.
