Data from the Korea Securities Depository and Clearing Corporation (SEIBro) shows that for the first three quarters of 2026 (settlement dates January 1 to September 30), the top 15 HK stocks by net purchase amount among Korean investors saw a combined net inflow of approximately $228 million, while the top 15 A-shares recorded about $79.87 million in the same period. Among them, Global X China Semiconductor ETF topped the list with net purchases of $52.57 million. In the A-share market, storage chip leader Changxin Technology was highly favored by Korean investors, accounting for more than half of the total net purchases in the top 15 A-shares. Other A-share growth sectors such as semiconductors, 5G communications, and power batteries also gained favor. Entering October, following Zhongji Innolight's H shares ranking second in HK stock net purchases during the first three quarters, its A-shares climbed to the top spot for net purchases since early October.
