Beijing Second-Hand Home Online Contract Signings Up 8.2% Year on Year in October

36Kr1 min read

Beijing Lianjia Research Institute, based on data from the Beijing Municipal Commission of Housing and Urban-Rural Development's official website, reported that Beijing recorded 13,081 second-hand residential online contract signings in October, up 8.2% year on year and down 17.0% month on month. Lianjia Research Institute analyst Leng Hui said the month-on-month decline was mainly due to statistical factors, as October had fewer working days than a typical month, making the drop a normal occurrence. In fact, market activity in the second-hand housing sector improved slightly in October compared with September, and Lianjia's actual signings saw a modest month-on-month increase. On prices, transaction prices for second-hand homes in October remained generally stable, with most districts holding steady or fluctuating slightly. (Securities Times)
