This partnership establishes a critical bridge between national defense-grade quantum key distribution (QKD) hardware and higher education, moving beyond simulations to provide hands-on training in real-world cryptographic infrastructure. By certifying faculty members under the National Quantum Mission's workforce initiatives, this lab directly addresses the urgent need for skilled professionals capable of deploying secure communications protocols across India's banking and security sectors. The initiative effectively scales quantum literacy by creating a standardized pipeline that aligns academic curricula with industry-ready engineering requirements.
